My mom 100% pushes my brother to be with my sister in law. Diwali and Sankranti, they celebrate with my parents. Rest, they are on their own. They have their plans then they join us...I thought this would be the norm ???

You're right, and your family sounds like they're doing the healthy thing.

That's what families in this day and age are like, esp. after our parents and their parents have experienced the insecure mils in their time, most mils these days want to be progressive ..

I do know a few regressive families but they are the exception.

CVs should show what is relevant to us, and not regress digress from what they promised us. The success of this show is that they were able to relate to the present times. If they screw this, viewers will slowly but surely leave.

Yes I do!

Dev will have to speak up to his mom a lot more to earn Sona's trust, and not take her on stupid meaningless dates and pataofy her.
