There was a time when Bollywood songs were full of beautiful classical dances like Bharatnatyam and Kathak.

We used to seen and enjoy classical dances till the 90s.

Sridevi,Madhuri and Meenakshi were so good in classical dancing.

After the 90s,classical dancing disappeared due to western dance, item songs, latkas and jhatkas.

As far as I remember,in the 2000s,the only movie which showed indian classical dance was Devdas.

Deepika tried her best in doing Kathak in Mohe rang do laal in Bajirao Mastani but she was not that impressive.

The current generation of heroines don't know any classical dance.

Do u all miss Indian classical dances like Bharatnatyam and Kathak, etc,,in Bollywood?

Yes, we don't really see any classical dances in films anymore.
By the way, is it true that Sri Devi was not a trained dancer? She dances like a dream, so I was a bit surprised when I read that in some magazine.
