Paheli in Oscars!

as u guys would hav known paheli, which was considered a flop, has been sent to oscars. many controversies surround it. people thought the rising would be sent. as for me, i think the sole reason was the amol palekar and shahrukh khn banner it was under. although i am a die-heart shahrukh fan, i am sure that this is shere politics as paheli wasn't that good at all!
