the initial promos had said that its the story of a unique Samrat who gave his newly wedded bride Lifetime imprisonment as a gift..

So may be following chanakya's orders and in order to take revenge on behalf of his mother, chandra might send the women of magadh behind bars or make them live the life of servants..

But a hero turning out to be so cruel.. ermm it wil be difficult to digest..

Yes as the first promo suggest.At first she will try many attempts to kill CGM and she will be imprisoned. But may be after it the things will different when Nandini will get to know the truth of his father.
And Avantika deserve this punishment after her all sons get killed.Now she will feel the pain because of her bad deeds.
