Why do TRPs exist? I wish they didn't 😡
So many great shows either get cancelled or reworked b/c of TRPs... so many writers and actors have lost out on showcasing their talent b/c of TRPs...😭

It really is sad... I just wish this new season of YVR allows for Kushi's character to be well etched, giving Sonal an opportunity to make it her own, and in the process not have TRPs ruin whatever the writers have planned...

I wish all future viewers of this show the best of luck... with something like TRPs it may be hard, but trust in the artistes behind the show, maybe they will figure out a way to get past it and provide all of you with some lovely work...😳

Actors and the production teams should try to take a stand against TRP to the best of their abilities, if possible. I wish them all the best...

TRPs are one of the worst systems to gauge the viewership. It's flawed & it doesn't present an accurate picture
It's extremely sad seeing how like you said shows get cancelled early on & stories are modified to rake in higher numbers. Also sad in how writers are never able to tell the story they want to.Must be really frustrating for them

The writers, the technicians, everyone involved need to take a stand against it & do away with such a system that is ruining our entertainment industry

It not only ruins the entertainment industry, but the culture the industry is trying to represent as well...

I was born and raised in the West and I was introduced to Indian movies and serials as a way to connect with the culture... To me these shows are not just a mode of entertainment, but a window into a culture that I am unable to connect with due to my geographical location. Arts and Culture are integral in breaking down barriers, and I wish the entertainment industry would recognize that more...

I am still glad that actors such as Ankush Arora, Roshini Wali, Gaurav Bajpai and Rinku Karmarkar exist. These actors all went the extra mile, through their acting and the way they transformed their appearance to bring to life a character, bringing along a depth to it that I greatly admire. 👏 As an admirer of the arts, I am truly appreciative of the existence of such actors. They all deserve a successful career. I feel bad I will not be able to watch Rinku K in YVR season 2 though... I feel Taayi's character has heavily deteriorated due to her over the top schemes. 😭

I agree & this is quite sad in how they don't take into account the immense impact entertainment industry has on the masses

So true. It's admirable how they don't hesitate to play characters older than their real selves or roles that require them to undergo a change in appearance unlike some actors who choose to quit citing such reasons. What I feel is a true actor should be willing to play any kind of role, cause there in lies the real challenge to bring to life any & every character one does

May they keep excelling in everything that they do.These are some really talented artistes
