Now I know there's rage all over the forum about the confrontation that never took place. But now, I am thinking about a different track to take place, like Sona never knowing about Dev refusing to call her mother 'Maa'.
Instead , Dev realising on his own his mistake and talking to Ishwari about it.
Like a guilt stricken person, he should realise on his own how him suddenly calling his mother in law 'Aunty' is so insulting and disrespectful.
He should go to Ishwari and tell her that it was his mistake of making such a promise without thinking about Sona and her family's feelings.
