Word! She's had such a smooth ride. No controversy, no complicated love-life, a great man by her side, a good career both critically & commercially plus her PH doing a wonderful job. She does seem very, very lucky. I am so proud of her..she's doing so much despite being an anxiety patient. Poor thing got a lot of backlash for supposedly being insecure and for the lip job. Now she's in such a better position and looking gorgeous too these days!

Ditto! And she's maintained such a dignified stance even through that. I think that's what makes you want to root for her the most. You think it's been an easy ride, but how tough must it have been to hear absolute crap thrown at you from entire India for someone else's professional performance just because he happens to your boyfriend and on a roll at that time. Plus, she's never denied her relationship, actually talked about him openly until it got too much. Even now she doesn't bother hiding, she just doesn't talk about him. I like that about her, compared to her contemporaries who blatantly lie about being in a relationship.

I've always admired her honest and no-nonsense attitude. Even years ago when people almost flicked her away and said she wouldn't last long, I believed post-BBB and JTHJ (in which she stole the show for me) that she would make it up there some day. She's been lucky and/or she's worked hard, whatever it is, but she is one person I'm absolutely glad to see in this place today. I'm not one to root for celebrities, even the ones whose work I like, but there's such a middle-class normalcy about her that strikes and makes you want to.
