Dating Katrina & Deepika behind my playboy image-RK

Actor Ranbir Kapoor is definitely one of the newsmakers of Bollywood due to a plethora of reasons. It is, however, a rare thing that the Kapoor scion himself gets candid about his life. In one such rare scene, RK opened up about his life and said that he has a Casanova image because of the actresses he dated, viz, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

Ranbir, reportedly, made this confession at the chat show of actress Neha Dhupia, #NoFilterNeha. While speaking with candour, Ranbir said that people have a notion that he is a playboy and serial dater. Revealing the reason about it, he said it is mainly because of the actresses he dated and a certain movie he did quite early in his career (Bachna Ae Haseeno). "Partly true but not completely true," he added.
The affairs and break-ups of Ranbir with Katrina and Deepika hogged a lot of limelight.

Moving away from affairs, Ranbir also spoke about the time when he assisted filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He said that SLB was a tough taskmaster and working under him humbled him. Ranbir said that when he was working with SLB, he was ripped off all his luxuries.

"I was kneeling down on set and he was beating me. I was not sleeping. My father took my car so I had to go by public transport," said Ranbir.

Talking about his state of mind, Ranbir said that he doesn't meet people because he is either working on a film or doing nothing. He said he gets an unimaginable amount of bliss by doing just nothing.
Currently, Ranbir is basking in the success glory of his latest release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. The multi-starrer also featuring Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in just four days.

sorry but the playboy/casanova image was not just because of his two relationships and certainly not because of that movie, its because rk allowed himself to hav that lover boy kind of image, wen u start selling it u get stuck with it

The playboy image was definitely approved by him. Personally I think it worked wonders for him by making him the "it" boy of Bollywood. That is until his films started flopping and he was no longer seen as a ray of sunshine in a bleak BW after the Khans retired.

Time to try for a new image for Biru. But I don't think the whole committed BF goals image worked very well for him with RanKat's daily laundry details and balcony spottings.

Now that I think about it... why does he have a playboy image? Lots of guys I've heard about in real life have more relationships/indulgences than he did. Pata nahi now how he is in real life.. He does seem like a lover boy to me, whenever I watch his interviews.
