Dont seem to stand a chance with Kajol, they were frnds. if u notice carefully, karan's body language speaks loud n clear that he's a gay.somewhere he himself had mentioned about the embarrassment it caused him and later he attended some grooming classes for that. even now his hands and even his walking style is very very feminine IMHO. dont wanna sound homophobic, to each his life.

As it is, Karan is too smart to fully depict his own life in this movie. I'm sure he's fictionalized enough of it that people are not able to guess who he is actually talking about.

Btw, I don't buy the theory that he was ever madly in love with Twinkle. Karan is melodramatic and I suspect he is saying he loved her in the way that gay men (stereotypically) say that they love Cher or Madonna. Twinkle is beautiful, impeccably stylish, and funny also. She seems like the kind of woman who he would worship - but not romantically in that sense.

Also, the people he loved could very well not be celebrities so we won't ever know.

I agree. I don't buy this story of how he was "madly in love" with Twinkle either. I think he tends to say that more or less in jest. It seems a little strange that Karan out of all people would even disclose such a thing. I doubt Karan would openly talk about who he was truly in love with..and if it was someone within bollywood, I don't think he'd ever mention it candidly.
