So why her father is doing this, few things I am getting from yesterday's episode :

1. She have her Triggers. She is suffering from Mental Illness.

2. The fact that only her 9th birthday things revolves in her mind, states it all started from then.

3. He might not be her real father but her mother's second husband.

In Total : Her real father might had died when she was small and that doll she took out from her gift box would'd been given by him and then her Mum remarried her 2nd father started abusing her or her Mum ir first started abusing her Mum and so that she do not tell anyone outside. And now he do all this for Money.

- This might be the same theory some other person told but I have not read anyone else's. So yeah!

@1: Yes.PTSD.
@2: Not necessarily, but her father for sure humiliated her in her bday party and abused both her and her mother - which is a traumatic experience, hence the PTSD.
@3: He is her biological father. He said "Maya mera khoon hai'' in a recent episode.
