Part 66
Sona & Meera are happy to see their sons coming to the crease to bat. Teesha & Charu cheer for them. Gautam starts the batting. Bermuda team begins to bowl.
Gautam faces the first ball but it was a bouncer. Gautam had ducked but it ball had gone above the wicket-keepers head and crossed the boundary. The empire declared it as wide.
Gautam faces the next ball. He smashes it to the boundary. India scores 20 runs in the first over.
Crowd cheers for India. Teesha sends a flying kiss to Gautam.
Manthan faces the next over. He hits the ball over the top of everyone's heads. The ball crosses the stadium without falling anywhere within the boundary line. It is a six.
Manthan hits 3 more sixes after this and defends the remaining 2 balls. The score is 44 for no loss.
Gautam and Manthan hammers all the Bermuda bowlers left and right. The spinners come to bowl. Manthan hits the ball high only to get caught. The coach sends Swayam to bat. The other player asks the coach about sending Rishi but the coach said, "I can send Rishi but if he gets out quickly no one other than Gautam, Manthan and Swayam will stick for a long time."
India's score is 170 for one from 20 overs. Gautam and Swayam are at the crease. Swayam is facing the ball but he gets stumped out the first ball he faced. However, the umpire declares no ball and the score becomes 171 with free hit.
Swayam hits a boundary in the next ball. Swayam faces the next the next ball. He drives the ball towards the point. Gautam and Swayam run for the single but Gautam gets run out.
India loses second one for 178. The coach sends the tailender named Bashir to everyone's dismay but to their surprise, he hammers the bowlers and gets out after scoring 55. India's score is 240. (If I am giving more than the actual score, you can take it as extras.)
Rishi comes next. The crowd shouts Rishi Rishi Rishi. He enters the crease. All eyes are on him which makes him uncomfortable. Rishi then remembers Mehek's recorded voice, "I love you." He then kisses the walkman and gets ready to bat. 30 overs are gone. Rishi faces the first ball and hits a huge six. He goes on hitting fours and sixes and hits the century.
At the end of 50 overs, India scores 450.
Lunch break begins. Indian camp is very happy. All are happy with Swayam for lending the support to Rishi. Swayam has to go back to India after the match as he has to go for the court hearing the next day.
Sona goes to Paridhi & asked her, "What do you think now? 450 is a very good score."
Paridhi: Yes, I don't deny that. It now depends on how they bowl & field. But this is only the beginning baby. If they play like this throughout, then I'll agree. But for now, i can treat you guys with icecream.
She takes Sahir, Samar, Sona, Naiya & Jigar to the icecream parlour & treats them.
Swayam goes to Rishi & asked, "When is India's next match?"
Rishi: After a week.
Swayam: I may not be able to play as I have to leave for India after today's match.
Rishi gets thoughtful. He gets sandwiched between the match & the court case.
Rishi: Why don't you withdraw the case on Piyush? I will talk to my dad & Big B about taking back the case. But you have to promise me that you will lead a good life hereafter as it will not be good for any one of us. Forget about the revenge & lets be friends. As such, Mansi is not your real mom & she is at fault as she has involved with my dad in my mom's absence, knowing that he is still married to her. She was not under any compulsion to look after my sisters. Why can't we become good friends?
Swayam is shocked to hear about Mansi.
He said, "Fine, I will do whatever you say. I will speak to my mom after the tournament."
Rishi: The first thing is to take back the case. Now you need to focus on your bowling & fielding.
Lunch time is over.
Bermuda's 2 openers are coming to the crease. Swayam opens the bowling. The batsman gets out facing the first ball. Bermuda loses the frst wicket at zero.
The new batsman comes & hits 2 fours. The score is 8 for or one.
Bashir bowls the second over. Bermuda scores 6 runs in that over. After Bermuda's score comes to 34, they lose the second wicket. Bermuda loses 4 wickets when they reach 120.
Finally, the team loses all 10 wickets for 180. India wins by 270 runs. After the presentation, Swayam goes to india taking the next flight. Rishi goes to Ahem & said, "Swayam is playing with us. We need him for the tournament. I had a word with him to take back the case. He also promised me to live a good life. Please do something about it."
Ahem: Let Swayam withdraw the case on Piyush. Then I will talk to the Rahejas.
Swayam reaches India. He gets a call from Ahem.
Swayam: I'm with the advocate right now. Once it is done, I will call you or Rishi.
Ahem: Fine.
Advocate: The court cannot ignore as they have the evidence about the drugs. You will have to withdraw it in the court itself.
Swayam goes to Alhuwalia & said: I'm sorry that I didn't listen to you. I wish to withdraw the case.
Alhuwalia: Fine.
Swayam then calls up Ahem & said, "The advocate told that it can be withdrawn in the court."
Ahem: Fine, I'll talk to the Rahejas about it.
He called up Lalit & said, "Swayam is withdrawing the case. So I request you to do the same as Rishi's team needs him. He has agreed to sort out the differences between us after the tournament."
Lalit: Fine.
Next day, Swayam & the Rahejas go to the court to withdraw the case. The advocates call their clients to give their statements. Alhuwalia takes back his statement against Swayam who in turn withdraws the case on Piyush.
The judge asked,"What about the drugs?"
The advocate said, tose wee not drugs but are the sweets for the festival.
He asked the court to check t in the lab.
Swayam: I wasn't there when the incident took place.
Alhuwalia & Rahejas too said the same thing. Swayam was actually not there. The police had to check the cargo before letting them go. The box didn't have these packets at that time.
Flashback:
Swayam & the Rahejas contact their advocates who go to the judges house & swapped the packets & took the packets containing drugs. They had burnt those packets in the fire & threw them in the river.
Present.
The judge dismisses the case & sets Piyush & Swayam free.
Swayam takes the next flight to Australia to join his team for the net practice.
Paridhi: Since there is one weeks time for India's match, I think we should give one visit to Barcelona
Sona: Fine.
Ahem & Gopi too plan to go to Barcelona to see Sujal's match. Pappu & Sanchi are also excited to see Lakshya playing basket ball.
The entire family takes the flight to Barcelona. Rishi, Gautam & Manthan too accompany them. Shravan & Vidya are excited to see Rahul playing. Everyone reaches Barcelona & books their rooms in a cottage for 4 days. Rishi, Gautam & Manthan continues their practice for their next match.

Shravan: This is the happiest day for me. Our son Rahul has made it.
Vidya: Yes Shravan, that's true.
Shravan orders for room service & have a candle light dinner.
Arjun & Jannat come to Spain for the modelling purpose for the F channel.
Later on there is a contest for couple dance. Arjun & Jannat become dancing partners. They come to the final round & win the first prize.
Both join the Modis & the Raizadas for the basket ball competiton.
Jigar & Paridhi had booked for the cottage wherein they can accommodate Samar, Sahir & their wives. Paridhi, Sona & Naiya think of bullying each other.
Sona & Naiya: What will you give us if India gets gold medal in basket ball?
Paridhi: I've told for cricket but I don't think India will win in basket ball as we have only 4 good players.
Sona: Arnav & Sujal would have selected the best players. So they will win.
Naiya: I agree with Sona.
Arnav, Sujal, Lakshya, Rahul, Omi & others practice for their next league match.
Samar & Naiya go to the theatre to watch English movie.
Next league begins. India has to face Nepal in their second league match. Toss begins. This part ends with the audience curiosity,
Kanan is Prof. Sinha's youngest daughter. she completes her studies & is looking for a job. She meets Alhuwalia's second son Kartik for the interview.
