Rani Padmatvati Story- SLB Style

Deepika's warrior / princess / songstress/ dancer meets Rana (poor Shahid whom I like and whose Physique and aura is no match to his co-star). Falls in love, marries, brings her back to some 2nd tier co-star actress / first wife. Some rhona dhona, pyaar vaar and in-fights. Plenty song and dance opportunity in royal Rajasthani flavor.

Ranveer's yudh (channeling Shahid's psychotic acting) where he is shown to be ultimate bad ass. Goes back to his poor wife. (SLB will rehabilitate his villain. Ranveer is 2 popular). Few taane vaane (why are you doing this evil), pyaar vyaar(SLB rehabilitation in full swing) between wife and her (pseudo psychotic) husband.

Rana insults some one (awesome character actor #1) who sulks and slinks back to enemy camp. Talks about Deepika's beauty. Ranveer not interested. His wife is pretty but intrigued when he catches ( her picture, hears her song...)

Asks Rana for a glimpse. Shahid as Rajput is furious but will be shanth karofied by his advisor (good character actor #2). Asks advise from his wife who agrees to do world famous Rajasthani dance (Jhumar dance??? 10-20% of the budget allocated). Shows her face to evil man from water.

Ranveer in lust. Goes back on his word. Captures the king. Queen Padmavati covers her face and brings back her captured husband. Ranveer almost captures her but is not able to. Word play between two.

More lust from Ranveer's side. Goes back to his wife who like Mandodari tries to put some sense in her mad husband. Perhaps writes/meets her would be souten. But to no avail. Tempting Song situation but hopefully SLB will ignore. Calm heads will prevail.

Rana and Padmavati uneasy. Perhaps Padmavati will ask her husband whether she can fight with him on battlefield. Gives promise of Johar in return. Rana and Ranveer fight. Lamba chauda scene where Johar gets prepared. Deepika bravely fights from / returns back to the fort. News of her husband's death. Some promo worthy dialogues. A Johar song. Deepika bravely walking after all women / will be first to enter fire.

Ranveer's entry in the fort. Sees the Johar/ perhaps sees Deepika walking into fire. Few promo worthy (pseudo feminist) dialogues between two. He promises to leave her alone. But she disagrees. She dies and he cries his heart out. Declare it was love and he would not have hurt his PADMAVATI. Someone (a female character) will give him some dyaan updesh. Ending shot burning fire will lone villain.

Sounds like a blockbuster to me.

Shahid and Aditi brings excitement to the project.

I just wrote based on SLB's film pattern. Or they can hire me as writer. The movie is going to be over budget. That much is truth. SLB will have tough time reigning in.

It looks good on paper so I am hopeful. I just wish SLB had brought someone more physically royal than Shahid. He is one of my fav. But both Deepika and Ranveer have strong physique. I fear he will be overshadowed. Shahid as villain would have made my day. He can do psychotic as nobody's business... Aditi is royal looking person. She is fit.

u forgot ranveer fans..
there should be couple of songs for
khilji too..
could be his wife wooing..or just mere dream sequence
with a portrait of padmavati..or just a war cry song..
or for a change sahid n ranveer could dance n recreate
a male version of dola re pinga league..
the boys are better dancers than the lady here for a change..
n there might be a big never ending pallu which khilji will try hold n pull
back padma to stop her from self immolation..bt she will still jump in the holy fire..
n khilji n pallu n burning pyres will zoom in ..the end..😆
