This is the story of a young businessman Mr. Khatri who had moved to a new neighborhood in Delhi to start a transpostation business. Their next door neighbors were Dixits who had a young son named Dev. Mr. Khatri soon got married and brought his new wife to his new place. Mr. Khatri was mostly out in his truck so he introduced his bride to Mrs. dixit and asked her to take her under her wings. Mrs. dixit started out with teaching her all the rituals starting from Tulsi puja to 9 days of fasting to reading all the releigious books. Soon Mrs. Khatri was totally imeresed in that. After a long time Mr. Khatri came home and wanted to spend some quality time with Mrs Khatri that they heard a knock on the door, it was Mrs. dixit asking for sugar. Next time it was she again returning the sugar. Finally, one day Mr. Khatri came home unannounced to surprise his wife and got the shock of his lifetime, Mrs Dixit was in labor and was about to deliver her 3rd baby (ria). Mr. khatri could never even get a SR with his wife and their next door neigbor was on her 4th baby already. This went on for some more time. Finally, Mr. Kkatri gave an ultimatum to his wife ... Aaj kee raat hai, you need to choose ! But Mrs. khatri was so dharmik by now that she wanted to become a Sanyasan. she asked Mrs. dixit to take a knife and cut all hair, give her orange clothes to get her ready for sanyas.
Mr. khatri could never come out of this depression. He is still saving that knife that was used to kill all his hopes and wants to take a revenge on Mrs. dixit.
