From beginning krpkab is shown as modern love story between dev and sona and the intricate relationship they have to handle.

I find CVS shows the contradiction perfectly and also this is and will become major problems amid dev sona
Dixits are rich but not in mannerism. Dev's hard work took them from rags to riches but they still have the same background.

What if not dev but neha was successful and she was running a business. Then for ishwari what would have been priority her gender discrimination and dev obsession or her need to called mahan and reason for success. I guess answer to this question we will never know. But all in all I find the old thought process of ishwari is one of the reasons for clutching dev so tightly that he will feel smothered in this burden of being perfect son
