Well agree with you. But the creatives have saved time by choosing him to play Acharya Chanakya. Because he has the experience as he has just finished acting as the disciple of Chanakya in the show Chakravarti Ashoka Samrat (CAS). So the casting director do not have to waste time in preparing him for the role, & dont have to make him understand about the character & the story as he already knows about it.

They tried to create suspense during the entry of Chanakya, but as we viewers have already watched him in CAS could easily spot him with his voice. Yes it was a bit funny to see him but lets see how he manages to continue in coming episode.

Seriously JA had such a good actors in prominent and neg roles except Rana Pratap

Where as here chanakya is such a prominent role still took someone who isnt suitable or eligible to play it
