One day mohan and radha were sitting in the courtyard.they saw a lady coming to their house.she was pregnant and havent eaten anything for days.radha felt pain for the lady who begged infront of them.radha asked her name.the lady answered in a low voice."i am padmini".mohan told padmini to give her food first as she is weak.radha went to kitched leaving pado n mohan alone.mohan told padu to enter their house and take rest.soon a boy with a stuborn attitude came towards pado.the boy asked padmini .who r u?who told u to enter my house?padmini gets exicted by his behaviour.mohan began to answer him but the same time padmini winced in pain..she began to cry loud.radha heard the noice and came to the hall.radha gets tensed and tell mohan "mohan she is having her labour pain.call the docter .we cant get her to hospital this time.rishab also got tensed ..he doesnt even understand what is happening.mohan called the docter..padmini began crying in pain.rishab hide his face in radhas saree ..radha told mohan to take rishab inside.rishab began crying holding mohan's hand and asked him."papa why she is crying?is it because i shouted on her?mohan consolled rishab "oh no baby she is not crying for that"soon they heard a baby crying ..
Padmini gave birth to a beautiful angel.Radha ,mohan and rishab came to see the baby.Rishab became very happy by looking at her..He came closer to her and touched her little legs and tiny fingers.Radha tells rishab to take his hands from her.But he kept on touching her.Radha and mohan began to talk to padmini.'looks like u dont have anyone to look after.what happened?u didnt have relatives?padmini began to tell her story.I am from bothihari.I was married to balraj chawdary because my parents are not able to pay his debts.He is a very cruel person.He has killed many people and betrayed us.I denied my proposal with him . he was 19 years elder than me..i suffered a lot with him.He gets drunk everyday and beats me till he is satisfied.My motherinlaw is also cruel like him.she always tells me to give birth to boy only.When I became pregnant with a baby girl,they told me to abort the child and i didnt want that to happen to my child.I am sure that they will kill me if i resist them.So i escaped from there to Mumbai.I didnt have any relatives or shelter for me.I will not get any job because i am not much educated and married at an younger age.Radha confesses padu."u can live with us padmini,we will be there for u".Padmini replied"But I dont want u all to suffer because of me".
Radha:we dont have any problem if u live with us.
Padu:ok but I will live here in only one condition.I will be like a servant here.I dont like to be a burden on u.
Mohan and Radha denied at first later they gave yes to padmini because of her stubborness...
Mohan and radha asked padmini about what name they should call her daughter.At that time rishab was watching some old movie while playing with his angel.
Padmini replied:Radhaji,u and ur husband saved me and my child from death.So I am glad if u too name my baby.
Rishab was silently listening to their conversations.While watching Television he saw a beautiful women onscreen.little rishu points his finger to the screen and asked Mohan."papa ,what is her name?
mohan:Rishu u dont know her? she is "madhubala" the most famous actress of India.But why u asked her name to me?u liked her?
little rishu:yes papa she is very beautiful.can we name our angel "madhubala"?
Mohan,padu and radha laughed hearing rishu's suggestion.
But little rishu gets hurt when they laughed by hearing his beautiful name.He became angry and asked them."what is their to laugh?Madhubala is a good name and I will give this name to my baby.Padmini felt pain for little rishab.
padu:hey,that is true.why we are laughing at him ?Madhubala is a very nice name and we will call her only by that name.
radha and mohan became dumstruck at her opinion.
padu: I will be happy if our rishu give name to my baby.
Radha:not ur baby.she is our baby.she will be a daughter to me and mohan.she will be the prosperity of our house...
Everyone in the house began to call her as "madhu".Rishab became caretaker of madhu.He always wanted her with him.He doesn't like when his madhu avoids him.
One day ,Rishab was playing with 3year old madhu.Padmini smiled seeing them playing.Mohan came to the hall where little rishu and madhu are playing.
Mohan:madhu beta come and see what I have bought to you.
Soon,madhu tried to free herself from rishu's grip.
little rishu held her tightly.
Mohan:Rishu ,what are u doing?free her.
Rishab obeyed his father and freed madhu from his tight grip.Madhu ran towards Mohan.He gave her a beautiful dancing baby doll.Madhu became very happy seeing it.Mohan put battery inside the doll and began playing it.The doll began to play music and dance.Madhu clapped and jumped watching it.
Rishab came towards her and tried to take her on his lap.But his madhu didnt show attention towards him.Rishu calls her once more.Rishab became very angry towards his father who bought something to seperate him and his madhu.Rishab took madhu's doll forcefully from her little hands and throw it away.The doll broken into pieces.At the same time madhu started crying loudly
mohan:rishu,what have u done?U broke the doll which I bought for her.what happened to you?
mohan and radha will not scold or shout to him because he is his only son and he has a stubborn attitude.At once they scold them,after that incident rishab doesnt eat anything for days.So both of them are afraid to scold him because of his attitude.
Rishab:I will do as I like.who told u to bring this doll to madhu?she is not playing with me.
Madhu became very upset seeing her new doll crashed into pieces.
She cried loudly.
Rishab felt pain for his angel.
little madhu: you are bad rishu.u broke my doll.I will not talk to u.
Rishab scolded himself for behaving like that to madhu.He remembered how happy she was when his father handed her the doll.Soon he began to fix the doll.But it was not working.Madhu is not stopping her cry.padmini,mohan and radha tried to make her happy but it went waste.Rishab ran to his room and take out his flute .He began to play his flute.Madhu became happy by hearing it and she stopped crying.Madhu ran towards his rishu and he took her in his hands..He kissed both her left and right cheeks.After sometime madhu slept in his arms.He took her to his bedroom and slept with her in his chest...Rishab began to care and love for his madhu.His love and possessiveness towards her has only increased these days.when he came from school,he always search for her in padmini's room.When he wanted to play with his friends,he will not leave madhu alone.He take her to the playground with him.He doesn't like when his madhu is in friendship with others in his absence.
Mohan and radha decided to get madhu to rishab's school.Rishab became very happy hearing the news.
One day,Rishab's friends came to his house and called him to play cricket with them.
Rishab:yes I will come with madhu.You all go to the playground.
.Little madhu like to play with other neighbourhood girls.Madhu didn't like when rishab always takes her to the ground to play cricket with other boys.He always wanted to see her by his side.
Madhu saw a man selling ice candies and some boys are buying and eating it.She like ice cream very much but her rishu doesn't buy her an ice cream.He always tell her that it is made of dirty water and she would catch cold eating cold items.She hates when he tell her about this.But she will not utter a word against him.She became scared when he shouts at her.Therefore she always obeys him and nods her head to everything he says.
When madhu was sitting in the bench of the playground,mukund,a friend of rishu came towards her.
mukund:hey,why are you sitting alone?
madhu:because rishu is playing here.
mukund:you want ice cream?
madhu searched for Rishab but she didn't see him.she wondered where he go.Madhu nodded yes to him.
Mukund bought two ice creams for them.He gave one to madhu.
When madhu started to taste her ice cream,she saw rishab coming towards them.Madhu hides her ice cream when she saw him.
Rishab came towards her with angry face
Rishab:madhu,what were u doing?I searched for you everywhere.
Madhu:I was also searching for you
Rishab came to take her with him.He saw her hiding something.
Rishab:Madhu,what is that?show me.
Soon she passes her candy to the other hand.
Madhu:nothing in my hand and nodded no
Rishab took her hands forcefully.by that time her ice cream falls down.
Rishab began to shout at little madhu.
He held her arms tightly.
Rishab:Who told you to buy these?when did you start lying to me?From where did you get the money?
Madhu began to cry loudly .Rishab felt bad for hurting her.
He called her with love and affection.
Rishab:Madhu,have I told you before these are bad for health.
Please stop crying.
but his madhu didnt stop her cry.
Rishab takes her in his lap and brought juice for madhu.
He tells her not to cry and drink the juice.
His Madhu obeyed what he said.They reached home and took madhu to his bed room.He took his flute and began to play with it.His Madhu laughed hearing it.
