Pearl V Puri to replace Anshuman Malhotra in Nagarjun ?TOI

Small screen actor Pearl V Puri, who was last seen in Star Plus Meri Sasu Maa, is all set to make his comeback with Life OK's Nagarjun. The actor will be replacing lead actor Anshuman Malhotra.

According to an entertainment portal, this decision was taken because of Anshuman's poor performance in the show. Pearl will soon start the shoot. Earlier, Ruslaan Mumtaz was short-listed for the role but later Pearl was finalized.


Nagarjun... Ek Yoddha derives its story line from Mahabharata. Not many know that the Naagas played a very important role at various junctures in the Mahabharata. The plot of Nagarjuna...Ek Yoddha revolves around Arjun. A war started between Prithvi lok and Naag lok when Arjun burnt down the forests of Khandava-prastha and destroyed the snake king Takshaka's family and kingdom.
