Is there a link???

I got this thought when I was reading one of the posts on this forum.....

according to the post, Darwin's theory of evolution corresponds to vishnu's matsya avatar.......

That would mean that science and mythology agree......

According to science, the earth was covered by water and no land, when it was first created....

Also, during Matsya avatar time, the whole earth IS covered by water........and according to the dus-avatar poem, matsya is the first avatar....

When Matsya avatar came, he said the earth was going to end and restart....and the few living ppl who he wanted to carry over into the earth's next span.........matsya avatar gave them a ride through all the water....

So, science did well in predicting the earth was once covered with water..

Can you guys think of any other stories in which there is an evident link between science and mythology???
