Ashish didn't have 5 minutes to spare for his jaan!!

While going to school Asha did call him to inform about the meeting with principal. But, he was busy with Neela. Then, after Anjie's incident they both went for Lunch. He was waiting for Neela and they met in the evening. Then, also Asha called him. (told by Sumukhi as she was trying to send Message). As Neela took his phone he couldn't attend the call. But, he didn't bother to call her it seems because as per precap he is enjoying the party when the Avni incident happens.

I wouldn't blame Neela here, she is under the belief that he is all her's , she is a victim herself of the great coward and now a cheater Ashish!

I dislike her character tho, too loud and too happy.😆
