The Return of Xander Cage trailer and were SUPER AWED by it

Deepika Padukone is finally showing us an insight of how her Hollywood stint will properly look like, if you were left unsatisfied with what we have seen till now.As everyone knows,Deepika Padukone will be making her Hollywood debut with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. The action movie will be releasing early next year, with the scheduled release date of January 20, 2017. Vin Diesel will return to the franchise as the eponymous hero, along with Samuel L Jackson. The film will be directed by DJ Caruso, and will also star Toni Collette, Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev and Donnie Yen. Deepika Padukone will be playing a character called Serena Unger, who had a past with Vin Diesel's character, and the two are reported to have some very sizzling chemistry together. We have seen a tease of that in the stills from the film...

And now we have seen the trailer as well. Our editor in chief, Tushar Joshi, had got the opportunity to be a part of the exclusive screening of xXx: The Return of Xander Cagetrailer, arranged by Deepika Padukone herself. And he has left the venue completely impressed by what he has seen in the trailer. When we saw the teaser of the movie a couple of months back, we are little disappointed because Deepika was so less in it. However if you felt the same way like us, then it's time to put that smile back on your face. For the new trailer will have Deepika a lot. As per our sources, the trailer has been cut keeping the Indian audience in mind, who wants to see more of Deepika. However, the trailer will also be played on an international arena as well.

So here are fine things that impressed us the most about the trailer...

No fake accent

Whenever any Indian actor makes an international debut, we are always worried about whether they will be taking on a fake accent in the film or not However, there is no need to worry about anything of that sort with Deepika. Yes, she will be speaking in English in the film, but she will be having the same accent as she has normally speaking in the Queen's language. There is not focus on her ethnicity based on how she is talking, which is a good thing.

Not a glam doll

The teaser and the stills gave hint of that; the trailer confirms it. Deepika Padukones role in the film is not just being a groupie for Vin Diesel's character, but she has a strong arc of her own and she has scenes where she is doing some heavy duty action sequences. Her entry scene itself in the trailer is a proof of that - she is shown total bad-ass in that black leather jacket and boots, and her attitude gives an impression that she means business.

Her chemistry with Vin Diesel is AWESOME

The first scene that she has with Vin Diesel in the trailer has Deepika place a gun to Vin Diesel's stomach (reminding us of her first scene with Ranveer Singh in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela). Even with that hostile attitude, the duo share an amazing chemistry that has to be seen to be believed.

Vin Diesel fans for a treat

If you loved those spectacular, if over the top action sequences in the Fast and the Furious and the first xXx movies, then prepared to be blown away by the stunts in this one. Vin Diesel will make your adrenaline jump to a new high with the kind of action sequences he is doing the film. The one scene that impressed us the most was the scene where he surfs the waves in a way you might have never seen in a movie before!

Deepika shines in the dramatic scenes too

Yeah, we were waxing so much about Deepika's action scenes in the previous paras, however kicking ass is not the only thing she is doing in the film. There is a dramatic confrontation between her and Diesel, and Deepika's performance in the scene will make her fans swoon.
