TOI:Daljeet Kaur turns Durga in Kaala Teeka

Actor Daljeet Kaur, who has been winning hearts as Manjiri in Zee TV's primetime drama Kaala Teeka', will now be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The actress is all set to don the garbs of Goddess Durga for an upcoming sequence.




In the upcoming track where Vishwaveer (Bhupinder Singh) is on the verge of killing Kali's (Simran Pareenja) child Raina, Manjiri emerges on the spot and wielding a trishul, slays him la Goddess Durga putting an end to the demon - Mahishasur's life.

Speaking about her powerful look, Daljeet says, "It was a memorable moment for me because when you have to depict goddess Durga- an epitome of strength & aggression, it has to be done with utmost vigor, passion and intensity. It calls for high energy levels. I guess I just tried my best to deliver what was expected from me."
