Dadi tries to stop Anika from leaving but she doesn't listen to her. With Shivaay looking the other way, she leaves the Oberoi House. Dadi tells Shivaay that he has made a terrible mistake and so does Omkara. Later, Priyanka is shown, crying, wanting to tell Shivaay that Anika did not bring Dev into the house. Soumya tells her that Shivaay is very angry, and thus she should just talk to him later, when everything settles.
Sahil tells Anika that he's happy she quit her job. They can have fun now, and he will not let her miss SSO. She tells him she will never miss him. And then, almost talking to herself, she wonders how if Shivaay could always 'sense' her, he could not see the truth in her eyes. Buaji comes and tries to convince Anika to beg for her job back. Omkara shows up, but even he is unable to convince Anika to take back the job.
Meanwhile, Tia tries to calm Shivaay down. She tells him he did the right thing by firing Anika. However, the tension doesn't leave his body. Dadi and Jaanvi discuss about bringing Anika back. Tej, however, is strictly against it. Shakti tries telling Tej that Tej and Shivaay are being too hard on Dev and his family. But Tej won't budge.
Omkara returns home. He tells Shivaay that he's not only bad at sentiments, he's also bad at business. If he had a better business sense, he would notice how bad a loss is the loss of Anika. Shivaay by now is tired of listening to everyone say that he made a mistake. His phone then rings and he gets angry, at whatever he listens.
Shivaay tells Omkara that he will finish the Gayatri business once and for all. He's shown in a dark, forested area where he steps over what seems to be a corpse. In the precap, it is shown that everyone is talking about Anika in the drawing room, and Shivaay tells them that they have better things to do. At just that moment, someone new enters the house.
