Doctor how is my bahu?
Ishwari dixit asked the doctor who rushed out of the ICU in a hurry with a nurse behind him. In fact the whole hospital was in a rush. Inside the doctors were rushing to treat her bahu sonakshi while outside the hospital the media was going crazy... she never thought this day she would be sitting in front of the ICU waiting to hear whether her bahu was dead or would she live. Today she had many rasams to do with sonakshi.. her sona. There was tulsi puja, she still had to cook her first dish , she still had to worship in the mandir for the first time as the dixit daughter in law and there was muh dikhae. But now she was waiting .waiting and praying for her safety.
We cant say anything. Please pray for her.
That's all the doctor said before rushing again. Ishwari sat with a thump in the hospital chair. What had happened?? How did this happen? Uncontrolled a tears began pouring from her eyes. Neha, riya and nikki rushed to her immediately.
Maa, don't worry bhabi will be allright. Neha said as she hugged her mother tight.
The clock struck 12 o'clock. What happened in a matter of few hours. At this time yesterday the gatbandhan was already done. And now they were in hospital. Why did sona jump? What led her to take such a drastic step? Why didn't dev save her? What had gone between them? All sorts of questions ran around her head. Her brain formed the worst possibilities, worst scenarios, and worst conclusions that dragged her to past and her husband.. no!! this can't happen.. she won't go there.

The whole hospital was silent all of a sudden. This was not expected. And none more than dev himself. He was devarsh dixit.. THE DEVARSH DIXIT. The top most business tycoon of the continent. He controlled every sector of the business he knew. This man.. a mere DCP.. how dare he ? standing in his hospital he dared to arrest him? Dev appointed person as this dirt for his protection and he was here to put handcuffs in his hand and take him to jail?

According to our rules for women and children , if a married woman tried to commit a suicide or is murdered within 7 months of her marriage then her husband and her in -laws are arrested. No warrant is required. Arjun announced. Mrs. Dixit you are a social worker and you are well aware of the rules . you have helped many girls based on these rules and regulations.

She was indeed well acquainted with these rules and had many times used them to her benefit and other's as well. She held her wrist forwards for arjun to put handcuff on her wrist. Dev was shocked. And every one. Ishwari Dixit was one of the famous social worker. Every one respected her and no one had the audacity to raise voice let alone put handcuff.
No.. mrs.dixit.. I wont arrest you or your daughters. But we have to arrest mr. dixit. Arjun said lovingly lowering iswari's hand. We have a eye witness to prove mr.dixit's presence with dr.Bose on the roof. He continued.
But that doesn't prove that prove that I pushed her from the roof.. dev shouted.
I never said that you pushed her mr.dev. arjun countered and turned his attention to him. And everyone knows that dr.bose is an acrophobic. So add up all these facts and the eye witness. You are under arrest.
You cant arrest me officer. You are a filth just like her.. dev shouted pointing towards the ICU where sonakshi was admitted and was operated.. tell me DCP were you sleeping with her?? Dev asked clutching arjun's collar. Is this way you are here to arrest me when every one are forwarding their grief?
If possible arjun turned even more stiff and held dev's hand that was on his collar.
Officer arrest mr. dev and with the case of his wife attempt to suicide add the case for assaulting a officer on duty ... Arjun said and then took the handcuff and locking dev's wrist took him.

Vicky!!! What the hell are you saying? Where are my bail papers??? Dev shouted on Vicky from behind the bars. He was angry.. damn angry.. he was arrested and was put behind the bars with dirt. And why? Because of that bitch.
Sorry bhai.. its 6 . the court is closed and today is Friday. I won't be able to bail you till Monday. Vicky said mentally smirking to himself..
Bring the bail papers ASAP!! He shouted again and dismissed him. He was more angry on himself than on any one else... how could he forget? How could he forget that sonakshi was acrophobic? In his anger he forgot about that and now he was arrested and would be in the jail till Monday.
The news of his arrest would have been flashed all around the world and god knows what would be the effect on his business. He would lose the shares and the confidence of his employees. It took him innumerable days of effort to build the respect he had now. He would lose all of it in a matter of few hours.
I hate you sonakshi.. I hate you so much... he muttered.

The feast was going on full throttle.

The time passed in a whirl with the bose and the dixits on the brink of break. Saurav the best he could to support both the families. The police was informed when sona's condition was a little stable and they took the statement. He had a fair idea what his twin would have given a statement. It was 1 in the night but no one had gone home, they were waiting and praying to hear some good news. Many mannats were taken , many chadawas promised, every possible bribe was promised to return his sona safe.. but he was realistic and was aware that if his sister lived it would be a miracle. He knew his sister would never jump. He was also aware that dev was a chameleon. Now that he was arrested he would react .. badly. And his reaction would bring a hurricane on the Bose family. And the worst possibility his parents loved dev like a son and would believe what ever he said and not even once think that he is culprit. It now laid on his shoulders to support his family. With his new business he had a fair idea what dev would do once he returned from the jail. He was disturbed from his thought when neil rested a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to his friend and his twin's bestie...
