Anika's role as the wedding planner is the stupidest of all. Which billionaire hires a woman with zero experience and resources (people, contacts and basic spending money) as a wedding planner? Gul appears to be going the Khushi way where she repeatedly brings back the heroine into hero's house for the most stupid reasons one can fathom. And that is terribly sad.

I hope they come up with something solid for Anika. I mean, enjoying the lighter vein of life is great (like Anika does) but brushing all insults and life itself aside in the name of comedy is ruining the show. The entire next-day-wedding track last week was an insult to our intelligence.

BTW, I have been on the lookout for your posts :D But last week's useless track didn't deserve your thoughtful work.

Honestly most of the episodes last week were a drag...I even skipped watching an episode🥱 And there seems to be a stagnation that has set into the storyline. So I was pleased as punch about the upcoming track...so speculated about it.

I totally agree with you about how flimsy the whole set up is. It makes me incredulous that the wealthy Oberois couldn't afford a professional wedding planner😕 Maybe Dadi should have hired Anika as an overseer of the household..a housekeeper of sorts

I totally concur with you on your perspective regarding Shivaay's outburst as well. I don't see what purpose it served if Anika didn't hear it. His brothers already know about how he thinks...so what was the function of that scene😕 And the direction was so ambiguous. I really thought that Anika had heard it and reacted to it tamely...which seemed so out of character for her.

In any case...I hope this track provides the zing the show requires at the moment...and the much needed impetus to the ShivIka ship.
