How can this show continue delivering such adorable episodes? How?😆...Every day as the last episode draws nearer, I think to myself...haan aaj ka shaayad theek thaak hi hoga, I can live with it...after all, they have to wrap up the story now...instead every single time, they so PLEASANTLY surprise me with all the little elements they add in.
Like a broken record, I'll repeat again just how unbelievably NATURAL Abhi-Meera are as a couple...the way they go upstairs to take Babli's blessings, and ever so naturally Meera switches to calling her "Mummy" :)...and everyone's grinning ear to ear over THE Dulhaniya finally being with them...lol Meera's like exhausted out of her mind, you can see but she's still trying somehow to stay awake...I loveddd her spontaneous little hug to Babli and Abhishek joining in to hug both of them was just mega aww❤️
So in the desi show guidebook timeline, today was supposed to "the suhaag raat"...the "big C", the "consummation" as fangirls salivate over so pathetically in every forum😆.
And I can't express how much I LOVE this show for turning every single TYPICAL scenario, scene, presumption on it's head👏👏
Kitne aaraam se Meera-Abhi entered their room without any taam jhaam...and no ostentatious "lead up" to ZOMG it's our first night together😆...I was already loving the lack of frills but they just took the cake with the "Kiss karun ki na karun" conversation that followed🤣...Every single dialogue was a GEM...aaj toh dialogue writer ke liye standing ovation for what they wrote here👏👏..."Filmon aur shows mein toh abhi tak ho jaata hai"🤣...what an unbelievably ADORABLE depiction of both of them having a straightforward conversation about whether or not they're gonna kiss...Meera so matter of factly declaring that this is not a film, this is real life...karna hota toh ab tak ho jaata🤣...and both of them admitting OH so adorably that they are nervous😆...PJ-ND ke baare mein toh main kya bolun...only these two could have pulled off this scene so adorably😆...all the hyper rationalization traits they have were PERFECTLY suited to pulling off this scene😆...this amazing combo of humor, irreverence, yet sweet camaraderie that is so them...I absolutely adore it.
And the scene continues being adorable from there as the cousins gatecrash and then tease them mercilessly about the position they find them in😆...First time zindagi mein maine PIZZA and suhaag raat ka combo dekha hai🤣...I love the zany ideas this show has come up with...lol if this was a way to both troll product placement and manage to give footage to the only sponsor of this show then GENIUS job by the writers👏😆...WICKED sense of humor the team behind this show seems to have😆
Abhi looked so scandalized over Anita teasing him and Meera about a kiss and he looked all puzzled ki isko yeh ideas aate kahaan se hain so Meera mouths to him, "English shows"😆
Even though I somehow knew it would be like this but actually seeing the visual of Meera so effortlessly integrating into the group like she was always a part of them, this room, Abhi's life...she just fits so perfectly into it all...as if she's always been in that room.
LMAO@ Abhi AGAIN attempting an SRK pose entry thinking he'll finally have time with Meera but ofcourse by then his bride has dozed off with half the chillar party draped around her on the bed😆...I found this so realistic too...only in OTT TV shows do people have time to do week long suhag raats doing god knows what kind of kartabs...the state of exhaustion that Meera was in, she was bound to fall asleep...which she did😆
And how adorable was Abhi tucking Meera and the other kiddos into bed...and aww dragging over the little mattress to sleep on the floor next to Meera...and ofcourse Meera managing to find his hand even in her sleep...lol...I can't believe how many boxes they've managed to tick in such a short amount of time...I hadn't even thought they'd manage to show this much level of meaningful interaction...but they are and they're showing it all so sweetly. Next morning, Abhi ofcourse waking up with the alarm, brushing her hair away from her face and oh so sweetly trying to get her to wake up...Abhi ki sweetness is in overload this week...didn't realize there was scope for the guy to get any more adorable😆
LOLLL@ the entire morning routine of Abhi trying to get Meera to wake up, her constantly asking for a chai, her attempting to "aerobics" her neend away🤣...the way she says, "Meri neend bahut CHIPKU hai...nails tak ghus jaati hai"🤣...Damn, I'm gonna miss this girl so much.
It's like a competition b/w Abhi and Meera about who's more adorable right now and I'm finding it very hard to pick😆
Abhi trying to get Mona to help but even she would fall asleep...lol poor Meera just needed that one cup of chai to manage to stay awake but kisi ne nahin di...poor Abhi got busy running errands and Mona gave up after a half-hearted attempt...Madhu ofcourse had to be petty...
LOLL@ Meera trying to motivate herself in her head as she's sitting there watching everyone talk, eat, drink chai...her looking longingly for one cup of chai, trying to sing to herself but it was too late by then...
There's a channel oh so pompously declaring that it's all about "nayi soch"...ghantaa nayi soch...the unbelievably refreshing post-wedding epi we got to see today was absolutely one of a kind...whether it is the romance b/w Abhi-Meera, the flipping of every trope regarding suhaag-raats, the camaraderie of the cousins even as they gatecrash into Abhi-Meera's room, the way Abhi is so unbelievably caring and protective about Meera without being in your face about it, the entire setup of the muh dikhaayi with a sample like Meera...KUDOS...like MAJOR KUDOS to the writing, acting, and directing team...you guys are honestly rockstars👏👏...this is what you call fresh thinking and execution even within the constraints of a family drama setup.
Precap seems to indicate tomorrow will be mainly family drama...but anyways, they've just impressed me way too much with the way they've crafted the epis so far...
