The only thing I can say today is this...what the hell am I watching ??? When I started watching this series, it was a mature, realistic love story...or so it said.
Today - I was watching an age old saas bahu saga. The faces were the same, the sets were the same...but from regular people with almost regular lives...they've morphed into over dramatic, petty and soapy characters whose lives are centered around rituals, kitchen politics ( LITERALLY) and dramatic expressions. From two leads with crackling chemistry, we now get one wimpy scene, and no sense of love, intimacy, even affection.
CVs, Sony - I understand you need TRPs . But do you have NO sense of respect for the audience who stuck with you for 150 episodes ??? Who praised you to the moon and back for the fact that you were different ?! No - you build a series on the backs of this audience's love, and then promptly jump to a bigger ship where you can get TRPs by becoming any old soap.
Shame. 😡
