Thank you for your post and for giving your view. Though I am a Kaira fan, yes, I am not saying this from a single sided perspective.
Gayu is not a bad character. But what she has to understand is that what she has for Kartik is an infatuation, NOT love. Love happens between two people, not in just one person's mind. Kartik and Gayu have never really talked that openly to each other or spent a lot of time with each other for Gayu to fall in love with Kartik as a person. Gayu was attracted towards Kartik from day 1 when he came to their house and made Mishti his GF. She was infatuated by him, not loving him. And that infatuation has been growing in her mind ever since, especially because she started misreading signals that Kartik likes her too. In-fact I believe that somewhere inside Gayu does not realize but her true love lies within a person like Vivan, who she shared a strong friendship bond with over the years. They are more of like soulmates. And true love actually stems from friendship, not just a first attraction.
That is why Gayu can never be the Kajol from KKHH and Kartik and Naira Sharukh and Rani. Kajol and Sharukh shared years worth of strong friendship together and started loving and caring for each other deep down inside but then suddenly Rani came up and both of them started having an attraction towards each other. They both then thought of it as true love and got married. But the reason destiny separated them later on was because they had misread the signals, true love was between Kajol and Sharukh not Sharukh and Rani.
But here the angle is completely different. The true friendship of Jai & Veeru exists between Kartik and Naira, not Kartik and Gayu. In-fact Kartik and Naira have met each other long before in Rishikesh, shared the nok jokh moments with each other, started of as enemies, then became friends and now best friends. This is the path towards true love. And like someone has made a post earlier too, destiny has at many times showed signals that Kaira is meant to be, them meeting in Rishikesh, Kartik having Naira's bracelet, the haldi by Naira to Kartik, those two dancing together in Yash's sangeet and much more. Plus if Gayu was meant to be with Kartik then somehow he would have made her break her Teej fast, Kartik's name should not have been erased when Gayu had written it on a leaf during Teej. But none of this happened. This shows that God wants Kaira to be and there is an equally good match like Vivaan waiting for Gayu but she can't see it yet. That is why as soon as Gayu successfully completed her Teej fast, Vivaan came back, shows God's signal that he is the one for her.
So all this trust issues do not take away that the matches of Kaira and (Vivan-Gayu) are already made in heaven. And this incident was different because Naira had to trust her Naman chachu before Kartik who simply works in her company. But now that her eyes have opened all of this will not be happening again. What we will see between Kaira now is an unbreakable bond of trust and friendship, that is the pillar of true love.
Sorry for the long post. I have been a regular Kaira follower till now but silent one on this forum. But this post made me want to give my views. I am not bashing any one's views. Just thought to give reasons on my opinion. 😊
