But, my dear Subha, how were they allowed to carry on in this insane fashion? I used to see the mods come down heavily on people in the JA forum with and without reason, so how did they do nothing in the forums you have mentioned when there was such horrible behaviour?

Again, is it that only some actors or actresses have this kind of mad fan following? For example - and I come back to Jodha Akbar because it was the only forum where I was there for about 10 months and thus know something about it - Rajat had a lot of admirers but no such unhinged and terminally devoted fans. In fact in that forum his fans were always on the backfoot against the Jodha-worshippers. Nor does Mohit Raina have such crazy fans, for that matter.

As for Drashti Dhami or Sanaya, or Barun for that matter, I have not watched any of them. After the clear idea you have given me of what to expect from any show they are in, even if I should watch them in the future, I will take good care never to go near the forum for that show!

Ria dear, the correct word for such fans is not hypocrite, for that means that you say one thing and mean another. They are clearly unhinged, so the apt word to describe them would be insane.

I remember one time I watched an SBS interview of Sanaya and Drashti and there was a huge fan war of who was prettier in the comments section. DD fans were bashing SI calling her ugly...and vice versa.

Same would happen with Barun's fans and Sanaya's fans during Ipk. Fighting over who is a better actor and hatefully bashing the other lead. I was more on the neutral side and anytime these fan wars would start mera sar ghum jata tha.

Was it the same Faisal Khan who played Kunwar Pratap? I loved him in the DID L'il Masters, which he won in 2012. I did not know he won the Jhalak one last year. He is a wonderful dancer. I watched Maharana Pratap for a long while only for him, just as I came to CAS only for Siddharth, whom I adored in Mahakumbh.

Who were the people in the IF who were upset when Faisal won the JDJ? And why?

@Shyamala aunty,sach bolu toh to some extent, IF has supported such rabid fangals for it's own benefit.Such fangals are huge in numbers.These forums were the most active forums when they were on air and it was difficult for mods to be active 24/7 to track down their posts. By the time those topics are clised,the damage is already done.
