he does have a elder brother...i didn't know abt it...maybe he has nothing to do with cricket thus he was not in focus...

biopics are never fake...its based on the person's true life incidents...they can reduce certain portions for screening time...so they took off his bro's parts...

as for priyanka jha's story...neeraj convince MSD to show this part of his life...

Back in the year 2002, when Dhoni was in his early 20s, vying for a place in the India team, he reportedly fell in love with a girl named Priyanka Jha. He had made up his mind to spend the rest of his life with her. It was then that the wicket-keeper batsman was picked for the India A squad to tour Zimbabwe and Kenya in 2003-2004.

In the tri-nation tournament with Kenya and Pakistan, he helped India A chase down 223 against their arch-rivals with a half-century, following up with consecutive centuries, scoring 362 runs in six innings at an average of 72.40. He caught the attention of then Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and interim coach Ravi Shastri, who took him in the ODI squad that toured Bangladesh in 2004.

But in between all these, Dhoni reportedly suffered a major setback as Priyanka was tragically killed in an accident. The diminutive skipper after returning from the overseas tour spent a whole year struggling to come to terms with the sudden demise of his lady love.

Those close to him feared that he might fall apart, but Dhoni, just like he has showcased grit and determination on the green turf time and again, did an encore off it to claw his way back to normal life and tour Bangladesh with a star-studded Indian outfit.

All the replies refer to those articles only which were surfaced after talks of movie began. Before that there was no mention of priyanka jha. For my confirmation i even checked Google search filter tool for old articles but there was none. So I'm not sure if it was real.. Had it been real some or other would have posted her pic on internet and it might have gone viral..

Though I'm also from ranchi and big dhoni fan yet i felt his biopic just glorified him.. Somehow i feel this priyanka chapter started going viral after movie talks began.. So may be it was just a strategy for movie.. Apart from priyanka jha.. Whatever they showed was nothing unknown. I already knew everything about his life
