Whatever we all watched today and bashed characters and rebuked CVs but CVs did surprise me with the whip of reality they added .No matter they disappointed us but it actually happens. In my family during one of my cousins wedding there was a great fiasco during the wedding and even after the wedding.More drama was because they were having a love marriage.Basically elderly people can't digest this very fact of marriage bcuz of love. And sufferers are mostly the bride and her family.Same thing is here. And those blaming the boy for keeping quiet and then complaining;they actually are helpless.Yes they can handle the matter if it goes worse but they are looked upon as people whose only job that day is to marry and not take sides or meddle in between.Happy that CVs retained the portrayal of real Indian weddings but somethings could have been toned down. P.S.-It's a personal opinion.

Does it happen in real life? Yes.
But why not show someone whom you are portraying as the "hero" to stand up against that thinking?

Either show the hero protecting his wife's honour or show him as the anti-hero. CVs can't have it both ways.

Yes 100 times. I'm glad that they broke the stereotype of every newly wed couple having a "perfect" suhaag raat. That's not always the case. But they seem to have sacrificed Dev's character to accompany this realistic factor. Oh well. 😆

Thank u for opening this topic ... cause I see many people criticizing The cv's for showing so much drama
But I know and have experienced same to save situations in my family during the wedding whether intercaste or in the same community ...
just because I'm female I don't simply n blindly support Sona... infact she was really rude to Dev ... poor guy he's doing his atmost best to please every one ... sona always think she's smart n very understanding she should have dealt this situation maturely with Dev
Disappointed with Sona today.. didn't expect from her

Even I felt the same way that Sona was very rude with Dev..I understand watever happened to her during and after the wedding was not bearable but She could've talk to Dev instead of shouting at Him.Today was the first day of their marriage n they ruined it..I didn't want to see the romance after such chaos but a nice mature discussion would've helped them a lot.Hopefully they ll start to understand that by fighting they r only destroying their relationship.Atleast that's wat I think is right.

It has been only one episode yet after the wedding hence let us see how they sail through.None is perfect nor any one is downright devil.Every one is ruled by their respective prejudices.Even CVs are humans. They too have their personal experiences and prejudices.Being a writer myself I know how difficult it is to cater to everyone's fancies and whims. If they have shown something there is ought to be reason behind it.So take everything with a pinch of salt and pepper.
