Maan is not rich. His sister is Annie, who becomes pregnant by Geet's brother.
Geet and her brother are from a rich family. When Maan asks him to marry his sister, he tells Maan to marry Geet and return the money on Geet's name just after marriage.
Maan marries geet and brings her to Chawl. Geet adjusts perfectly over there. And Mann's father is in coma through out. Geet visits his hospital regularly and help him get cured.
In the end Maan owns a hotel business, Geet becomes a singer and they have triplets.
Annie is treated badly by Geet's brother. Her child couldn't make it. and she plans a divorce to him...
