The security handled the media and made them out of the premises. The Raizadas, Arora, Police inspector and Guptas sat in the living room.
"How did you guys get the video?" Inspector asked.
Arnav sighed and said, "We already knew that Lavanya is planning this to ruin our engagement. One of our person is spying her and she informed us. So that's why Ritik changed the time of engagement and made it early so that the ceremony would occur without any obstacle!"
Khushi looked at her brother. So this was the reason why he changed the time.
"Our informer told us that Lavanya is going to Dr. Preeti. So Akash got into her cabin without anyone's notice and placed a camera!" Ritik said.
Inspector nodded and Nani said, "So it was her who sent me the photos"
"What photos Nani?" Payal asked.
"Disgusting photos! They morphed Khushi's pic with other men!" Ritik said and Khushi gasped. She looked at Nani. Nani said, "You don't need to say anything bitiya. I trust you. I tore those photos away. I knew they were fake!"
Khushi hugged Nani in tears and Shashi said, "Devyani ji, let me apologize for Lavanya's mistake. I know apology cannot change anything. But I never knew that she is so mad with Arnav!"
"How can that happen Shashi ji?" Ritik asked, "You very well knew what Lavanya was doing. In fact it was you who fuelled her, isn't it?"
Everyone looked at Ritik confused and Shashi asked, "What the hell are you saying?"
Ritik turned to inspector and said, "Sir, I came to India for my sister's marriage. But there is one more reason. I was send by Scotland Yard to get information about a criminal!"
"Criminal?" Akash asked.
"Yes, a criminal who had his network all around London. He was involved in all illegal activities. Human trafficking, sex rackets, drug dealing and the list goes on. Our sources got information that that person is an Indian and to be precise, we tracked him to Delhi!" Ritik said.
"Our inspectors worked for many years to get details about this person and finally they gave us a complete report!" Greg said, "The person's name is..."
Ritik looked at Raizadas and said, "Shyam Manohar Jha"
"WHAT?" Arnav screamed and everyone stood up. "Shyam jeejaaji?" Akash asked shocked. "This cannot happen!" Nani said.
"Damad ji can never do this!" Mami said.
Everyone said something to defend Shyam while Arnav looked at his sister who was standing emotionlessly. He had expected her to cry and fall on the floor begging Ritik to change what he has just said but no, she was standing stiff as a pole and her face carried "I don't care a damn" look.
"Di" he said and everyone looked at Anjali. "Don't you have to say something?" Arnav asked.
Anjali sighed and looked at Arnav. "It's true Chotte!" she said.
"What?" Everyone asked.
"Whatever Ritik has said now is true! Shyam is a criminal!" Anjali said.
Everyone stood shocked hearing this from Anjali's mouth.
"Shyam never loved Anjali. He married her just for the sake of money. Anjali was his ATM card and he could enjoy Arnav's money!" Ritik said, "And he used to take money from her for his business!"
Shashi gulped. If they know about Shyam then they would definitely know about him. He looked at Garima and whispered, "Let's go" Garima nodded and they try to sleuth when NK stopped them. "Not so easy Guptas!"
"Ah Shashi Gupta" Ritik said walking to him. He turned to Gregory who handed him a thick file. Ritik gave the file to inspector and said, "These are the proofs about Shyam's businesses and there was an investor for Shyam. The person who financed his business. Shashi Gupta!" Ritik shoved the man to the inspector.
"Nahi!" Garima said.
Ritik ignored her and turned to the family, "It was Shashi who always encouraged Lavanya to seduce Arnav. It was he who planted the seeds in her. The reason is if Arnav married Lavanya, then the whole Raizada property can easily be seized from Arnav. It was Shyam who convinced you all to get Lavanya married to Arnav. They had a deal. If Shyam helped Shashi, Shashi would invest more in his business and also would give him 1/4th of Arnav's wealth! Right Shashi ji?"
"This is all lie!" Shashi screamed.
"Tch tch...you are caught Mr. Gupta. No running now!" Ritik said laughing, "That file has every damn thing you and Shyam has done. It contains details about every innocent girl who both have sold and every single person you both have killed!"
Ritik turned to inspector and said, "This file must be submitted in the court. Shyam is caught by Scotland Yard at London and so is his whole team. They will be presented in front of court of England and then will be handed over to the Indian government. So by then, Shashi must be presented in court. Got it?"
The inspector nodded and called him men to arrest Shashi Gupta. Shashi was taken away and Garima went behind them pleading to leave her husband. Inspector went after thanking Ritik and Greg.
Ritik turned to the family and said, "I know this is hard for you all but this is the truth. Shyam was never a good man. He was playing with your feelings!"
"Anjali bitiya..." Nani said holding the shoulder of her granddaughter, "Please don't fall weak"
Anjali laughed and said, "Weak? Nani, do you think I'm weak now? I feel like jumping with joy!"
"What?" Mami asked frowning.
"Me and Ritik has tricked Shyam to sign the divorce paper. The divorce is granted in open court. So I'm a free bird now!" Anjali said smiling.
"But di, you loved him!" Akash said.
Anjali sighed and said, "I never loved him. I agreed for his proposal just because Nani was worried seeing me unmarried at the age of 27. I never had any feelings for him. I thought he is good man and would be a good son-in-law but I was wrong!"
"Anjali bitiya...you married him for...for me...?" Nani asked disbelievingly.
"Ha Nani...for you!" Anjali said.
"How did you come to know about him?" Arnav asked.
Anjali sighed and recalled that day when she heard Shyam talking.
"Hmm...I'm sorry Shashi ji I couldn't do anything. I was not here. I did not know about this girl. Don't worry this marriage won't happen!"
"Yeah, ask Lavanya to do something. Try from your side and I'll do whatever I can. Arnav and Khushi's marriage will never happen!" Shyam said and cut the call.
"He was talking with Shashi Gupta that day. I was confused on why he is doing so and contacted Ritik, the only person who could help me. Ritik hesitated at first but then told me the naked truth of Shyam Manohar Jha. Right from that I am helping Ritik to collect proofs against Shyam!" Anjali finished.
