On his way to check Ruhi, Raman bumped into a crying Ruhi. He hurriedly took her into his arms and asked her,

"Kya hua Ruhi beta!!?? Aap ro kyu rahe ho??"

[What happened Ruhi?? Why are you crying??]

"Pa..papa!! Meri tooth!!" she cried even more and showed the shinny thing in her little hand.

[Pa..papa!! My... tooth!!!]

Quickly taking her in his arms he went down shouting his wife's name who was still working in the kitchen excitedly, feeling the moment of their daughter's first tooth loss,

"Ishitha!!! Ishitha!!!"

"kya hua Raman?? Aap chilla kyu rahe ho?? Roo.." she quickly ran to fetch her daughter into her embrace.

[What happened?? Why are you shouting?? Roo...]

"Ishima..." the little girl started crying again pointing her open mouth and her broken tooth.

"Aww!! Roo aapki phirse new tooth ajayegi!! Dard tho nahi ho rahi hai na?!!" Ishitha asked worriedly even after knowing it is usual for Ruhi's age.

[Aww!! Roo you will get a new one!!! Is it paining??]

"Ishima!! Pain nahi ho rahi hai!!! Lekin naya tooth ayegi na??" her daughter asked innocently.

[Ishima!! It's not paining!! But will I get a new one?]

"Of course Ruhi!!! Aa jayegi!! Woh bhi iss se stronger aur phir kabhi tootega bhi nahi!!" her father assured drawing both of his girls into a hug.

[Of course Ruhi!!! You'll get!! That too stronger than this and will never break ever!!!]

"Dekho aap ro rahe the aur ishima bhi ro rahi he!!!" he continued pointing the tears in Ishitha's eyes.

[See Ishima is also crying as you are!!!]

"Ishima!! Aap pls sad math ho!!! Me bhi smile karungi!!! Ruhi said wiping hers and Ishitha's eyes.

[Ishima!! You don't be sad!! I'll smile too!!]

"Kya hai Madrasan!!? Mei toh kush tha yeh baath jankar ki hamari beti badi ho rahi hai aur tum toh ro rai ho!!! I know ki tum nakli dentist lekin itna tho bina degree hi sab ko patha chal jayega ki yeh sab usual he!!!" he teased her trying to divert her.

[What's this Madrasan!!?I was happy that our daughter is growing and you are crying!!?I know that you are a fake dentst but this is known as usual by people without degree also!!]

"Huh jab bhi meri beti ki ankhon ke aasu dekti hoon na jab patha nahi itna dard kyu hotha hai!!" she said hugging both of them, who meant her life, tightly, while he reciprocated the same.

[Whenever I see my daughter tears, it hurts me the most!!]

Their elder son who had seen all this couldn't help but remember the time when he had lost his first tooth. He cried a lot seeing his lost teeth while his drunken mom was sleeping least cared about him. He then thought that it was all common and the other children were also treated the same way. But after seeing his sister's childhood he wanted to relive his with his newly found parents.

"Ishitha!! I think Ruhi so gayi!! Mujhe patha hai ki aaj tumhe uske sath sone ka man kar rahi hogi!! In fact mujhe bhi!! Lekin mein ne humara bed pe poore files phenka hai!! Isliye hum Ruhi ki room me soyenge!!" he said while she nodded parting from him.

[Ishitha!! Ruhi has slept!! I know that you want to sleep with her today, I want it too!! Let's sleep in her room as I have made ours a mess!!]

"But Adi Raman!!?? Mujhe nahi lagtha who comfortable rahega!!" she said only to stop when Adi cleared his throat after wiping off the lone tear escaped.

[But Adi Raman!!?? I don't think he would be comfortable!!]

"I'm fine Ishitha aunty!! Mei kisi aur room me sojavunga!! Aap Ruhi ke sath soyiye!!" he said.

[I'm fine Ishitha aunty!! I'll slep in some other room!! You sleep with Ruhi!!"]

"No!!Adi!! Hum sab sath me sothe hai!!" Raman spoke up.

[No Adi!! All of us will sleep together!!]

Even though, Adi liked the idea immediately, he felt too awkward to admit the same.

"Sothe hai na!!" Ishitha asked hopefully, smiling.

[Let's sleep na!!]

Adi couldn't help but smile looking at her. She was looking similar to Ruhi who would ask him for accompanying to her class for having lunch. As they went into their kid's room Raman carefully placed Ruhi and Adi slept beside her to the end of the bed while Ishitha took her place on the other side of her. Raman who spooned Ishitha from her back hugging Ruhi tightly and she placed her hand across Ruhi and Adi's chest holding his hand. As Raman nuzzled Ishitha's arm she couldn't help but giggle while Adi dozed off smiling hearing the sweet giggles and murmurings of his parents with the comfort of arms around him.

"Bhai aur bhabhi apne kamre pe nahi hai!!" Neelu said to the lazy Bhalla family.

[Bhai and Bhabhi are not in their room!!]

"Are itna subah date pe chal gaye!!" Romi commented while others giggled.

[They went to a date this early!!]

"Acha Rinki tum bachon kho uthao na!!" Toshi said sipping her tea.

[Rinki!! Wake up the kids!!]

When Rinki went inside the kid's room the scene of the happy family cuddled in each other. They were looking too cut and perfect to not take a snap. She happily went away and showed it to the family whose happiness knew no bounds.

Taking the soft hand of Ishitha's which was on his cheek; Adi kissed the back of her palm and woke up Ruhi for the day asking her not to disturb their parents. Both of them got ready and headed to the breakfast where Shagun sat grumpily still in the aftermath of the pictures earlier.

"Ayyo!! Me late hogayi!! Ruhi aap ready hogayi??"Ishitha came hurriedly only to get surprised.

[Ayyo!!I am late!!Ruhi you got ready?]

"Thank you Simmi!!" she thanked but was cut off by Ruhi,

"Adi bhaiya ne ready ki Ishima!!" she said hugging her.

[Adi bhaiya helped me in getting ready!!]

"Wow!! Adi aapne...Thank you beta!!" she pecked his forehead lovingly while he smiled whole heartedly.

[Wow!! You Adi...Thanks a lot beta!!]

Raman couldn't feel much overwhelmed ever. He could see the beginning of the beautiful bond of his son and wife for which he had been waiting. Thanking god, he made his way to his room.

Shagun anger knew no bounds. She was irked seeing her son act sweet towards Ishitha. She couldn't lose her weapon for winning Raman and throwing Ishitha out of his life.

She was extremely jealous of Ishitha who was having everything she once owned which had now increased times.

"Good morning papa!!" Ruhi said landing herself in the arms of Raman who had just sat in the couch of the living room and started how the tooth fairy had visited her last night and would be gifting her, a strong tooth.

"Daadi!! Papa jitna strong tooth!!" she beamed while everyone smiled seeing her innocence only for Raman to cuddle her closer.

[Daadi!! I'll get a tooth as strong as papa!!]

"Kya hua papa? Office nahi jana??" she whispered cupping his face for which he nodded his head vertically.

[What happened papa? Don't you wanna go office?]

"Raman!! Aap ab tak ready nahi hui?? Meine aapka kapade ready rakha!! Jao!! Shower karke ajao!!" Ishitha said hurriedly packing the lunch boxes for her children.

[Raman!! Didn't you get ready? I have kept your clothes ready!! Go have bathe!!]

"Ishima huggie??" Ruhi asked. But before Ishitha could react Raman pulled her closer and cocooned both of them in his arms.

"Raman!!" Ishitha blushed taking in the place around her.

"Mujhe office nahi janaa!! Bas hum sab aise hi bait the hai poora din!!" he whined while Ruhi giggled.

[I don't want to go to office!! We will just be like this whole day!!]

"Wow!! Papa hum movie bhi dekhenge huggie huggie karke!!" Ruhi excitedly continued and Raman just hummed cuddling more into Ishitha.

[Wow!! We will see a movie also hugging like this!!]

"Oye!! Lazy heads!! Rooh aapko school jaana hai!! Phir shaadhi me bhi aapko leaves lena padega na!?? Aur Raman aap.." she was cut by Raman

[Oye!! Lazy heads!! Rooh you need to attend your school!! You need leaves for the marriage, Right??]

"Please!! Ishi..tha!!" he completed drawing patterns over her arms making it difficult for her to stay composed.

"Raman!! Aaj Mihir bhi nahi hoga!! Aapko office nahi jaana??" she somehow managed to utter.

[Raman!! Mihir will not be available today!!]

"Oops!! I forgot!! Mujhe jaana hoga!! Phirbhi Ruhi I promise shaadi ke baad hum day out jayenge!!" he said hugging them once again and left for the day while Ishitha shook her head.

[Oops!! I forgot that!! I need to leave!! But Ruhi I promise we'll plan a day out after the marriage!!]

"Woh toh bachpan se aisa hi tha puttar!! School jane se mana karke mujhe pakad kar baittha tha!! Bas kuch saalon se jho Ramn kho hum bhool gaye ab who phirse mil gayaa!!" Toshi said rubbing off her tears of happiness.

[He was the same in his childhood!! He used to sit holding me the whole day bunking his school!! It's just we missed this Raman from last few years!!]
