Harshvardhan Kapoor may look impressive in the trailer and songs of his upcoming Bollywood debut Mirzya, but the same cannot be said about his off-screen behaviour with the media.
The word is out in the media that Anil Kapoor's youngest child needs to learn some manners, and that too, fast. Seems, the 25-year-old left some senior journos aghast during a recent media interaction organised by Mirzya director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
Nobody minded when the Kapoor laadla reached half-an-hour late for the interview. But what followed left everyone speechless. Harshvardhan sat on a chair facing the media, and then, with oodles of attitude, placed his legs on the table in front. In short, the journalists -- some of them very senior -- had a clearer view of the newcomer's shoes than his face.
Not willing to put up with such outright disrespect, a scribe asked Harshvardhan to sit properly. He obeyed, but the point is, who in the world behaves like that unless they are in their own drawing room?
Buzz is, Kapoor Jr is rude to press photographers, too. Seems, he refuses to pose for pictures and even if someone clicks him, makes it a point to check all the snaps. Wow!
So much arrogance? That too, even before the fate of your first film is decided? Not wise, boy, not wise. Fly high, but make sure your feet is firmly on the ground. With an affable dad like Anil and a sweet-natured sister like Sonam, it shouldn't be difficult for you.
