Take it as a fun post or as a post to raise awareness

Looking at sona's twisting abdominal pain, i have diagnosed her with a very common problem known as
"Poly cystic ovarian syndrome". Not sure how many of you have heard about this..

You can look it up on internet and learn more about it..Basically multiple cysts form on the ovaries every cycle instead of one follicle.. This causes extreme abdomial pain or pressure.. Sometimes these cysts burst out causing even more pain.. A lot of girls have this problem now a day... What this causes is that woman dont ovulate monthly and would skip few cycles here and there -- this makes it difficult to conceive as you dont ovulate every month...

Usually when people find this problem , the general physicians are not aware that this can be handled with medication which will induce ovulation and it will result in healthy pregnancy.. So these doctors would just say that the woman can either never become pregnant on her own or will have extreme difficulty to conceive... This is incorrect information

If you hear this the you should just go to a specialist - obgyn who will help the woman conceive by inducing ovulation

So that is the pcos gyan for today..

Coming back of the kuch rang story-- my thinking is that the doctor will say it will be difficult to conceive or there is a chance that she can never have kids - this chance is enough for ishwari and gkb to cause issues and ishwari will be against the marriage but dev will go ahead... Again the doctor may say it is treatable and dont worry it will be happy ending(dont think there will be behari sona situation in longer term "

Ps: i hope you all dont mind me posting such posts on this forum

Thank you so much di for making this post
The post is related to the track that we are gonna have plus it is giving most of the female members very much of awareness
It is very important to be aware of your body and health which most of us neglect
And coming to the show, why jump on to conclusions before seeing how the whole track is handled?
I don't get why ppl are finding it OTT drama or things of that sort, I srsly don't think that the track is unrealistic at all.
And alot of us were worried if the CVs would show Dev-Sona wanting to have baby just afte their marriage, problem solved I guess.

I personally think that it is more important for the man to understand these issues. At least I come from a home that has respected and valued the female anatomy and have taken time to read about medical issues...and to be aware. Men need to know, after all they have mothers, wives, daughters too.

A very good and informative post.. indeed PCOD is becoming very common nowadays.. and the society we r living especially elder people not at all aware of this...
Let me share my best friend's story.. she also had the same problem and she and her family was aware of that before marriage.. and they tell it to the boy's family every when proposals came and 2-3 are gone for the same reason.. then came a proposal where one of her relatives brought and they tell that to the boy only.. he is such a supportive boy and he told to keep quiet abt this to his family.. after marriage they consulted a specialist doc and now they are blessed with a baby boy of 2 years and living happily.. I would say he is one of the most supporting husbands I have ever seen.. his family is not aware of anything till now..
Its only a curable disease just need some patience and proper guidance that's it..

Once again thank u for creating such a post..👏

This is very common in current generation. . It is really not big deal...There are so many solution..nothing to worry at all. In fact one of my friend going for IVF, our discussion is now whether she can go for triplets or twins..boy or girl etc😆. Only thing is treatment is quite expensive. .I think Dev is rich enough to afford it. Hope cvs don't do blunder in this track.

Thank you dear... i know a bunch of girls in my group who had this problem (including me.). it is very common and treatable to achieve pregnancy. but elders dont know this.. they dont want to take any chance of not having kids (even if there are options to cure it).. i understand their concern.. but it is good to raise awareness that it is not end of life if you have this problem.
