Do trp's really matter?

I was just trying to figure if bigg boss is really that good...the thing is i really don't watch/follow any hindi serial...do not know why I got hooked on to KD.. have always preferred watching friends/big bang/ two and a half men etc..

I am trying to think logically but still can't seem to come up with one. There are two ways to look at KD going off air

One is that they knew it was a finite series and had to end before bb, now if that was the case, I really don't understand why did cv's go this way. Because then they should have had a crisper story line and plot, which they had to start with.

Second, maybe it is not really about trp's or bb...this is just an eye wash. It is about production team etc...sasural simar ka/swaragini/shakti are all from the same team...and kasam is from Ekta... So you never know

And yes, all this information I just gathered from Internet. I have no primary data...these are just my thoughts..

Trp is indirectly shows how people accept the show

The production house of kd is not known.not tht strong as ekta or rashmi sharma

So the plot should be strong

When they do what they want the show will fail

For a show like kd must need a strong plot and cvs should do what fans want

Lots of fans left the show just because of the story line...cant help though

People watch late night series not becz of they really want but just to relax themselves after a hectic day

But when the story tortures its viewers i dnt think anyone wants to keep watching it

Yes dear, I know trp's are a reflection of people accepting or rejecting a show. But, in the above article about bb, they are defending it for getting low trp's..which are true for any show...

Kd was the slot leader even last week...

I am not defending kd in any manner at all...but this is the same serial because of which Indiraji got Dada saheb phalke award for playing kumudini... clearly cv's goofed up big time ...all I was trying to say was...it is not only trp's...it's more about big guys vs small guys... be it the slot they are given or what gets axed and what not...

to be frank i dont believe this TRP system ,reason is mostly ppl watching the show out of curious whether its good or bad ,once they start to watch they unable avoid it ,most of the good concept show wrap coz of this rating system, u can see class song should take time to reach but item song will suddenly reach peak its was only time being but class song always remember by the ppl .rangeela always long run some crab show ,suddenly shut down some good show coz of this rating
