Everything is going against what we think. We think Dev would finally make the right decisions, take a stand etc etc. We think that Ishwari has finally turned around and regrets her mistakes but we are wrong yet again.
But let's think logically isn't that how life is, how people are. Our brain is trained to think that a hero can never be wrong, can never be weak. But that's not how the real world is. A girl is always led to believe in fairy tales, in her perfect Prince Charming. Just like Sonakshi believed. But in actual fact, perfection doesn't exists. Love is blind and when you love someone you find perfection in their imperfection.
Ishwari's family has been shown to be scarred from the very beginning. Things now look perfect in their life because they have the luxuries of life but her family from the very beginning has lacked relationship problems. Maybe that's why Sona is the perfect match for not only Dev but his family as well.
We all want things to fix themselves with a swish of a wand and everything to be all perfect between Dev and Sona. But that's not realistic and from the very beginning we were promised a realistic story.
Besides if all is ok in Dev and Sona's world then there would be no story to tell. Which means saying goodbye to "kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi"
So let's just enjoy the ride. Things will work out in the end but let them learn from their journey. A journey to becoming a team.

Very well said .. Yes nothing has changed.. Ishwari is still the same - all she is doing is damage control to preseved her god status infront of dev and dev is on the verge of realizing that sona and her familys problems are his problems too.. He cabt turn blind to sonas side of family and do maa jaap all the time.. So sonas rejection will push him towards recognizing other relationships and respecting others wishes and acknowledging other problems.

I think sona learned her lesson that she is the one who should fight for the reapect she deserves and ahe doesnt have to stoop low just becuae she loves dev.. If she doesnt get the respect then she should demand and fight for it

Overall happy with the way things are going

We all know that guys mature at a much later age as compared to the girls ! Yes sona is a 'grown up' now but where has the understanding and empathy she had for Dev and his circumstances gone !!! Even if she wants to make him realise something can she not do it in a nice way like the way she handled the last conversation with drunk DEV at his office before her engagement .

Knowing male psychology I know if u push them against the wall they break down and not think logical and that too Dev who worships his mum ! That's lot to expect ! sona can make him understand if they are in relationship rather than in break up mode. Remember how she helped him deal with Neha - ranbir situation .

I am not against sona standing for herself but if it goes on for long time I will call it childish really.
