what role should your favourite take up next?

what kind of film or role do you want your favourite/ or any actor ..should pick up?

Not my favorites but... Khans - middle-class middle-aged men with a middle-aged spouse - with teenage kids - I want to see them in family dramas.




Deepika --- Badminton player...their struggles and so on. They could make a movie on her only, how she was a national level player but chose modelling over this. Taking such career decisions is not easy. And yeah, I agree OP, she should play a negative role once.








Anushka --- officer in the Navy.

For Deepika..a film with Shoojit,Dibakar,Vishal Bhardwaj

SRK - Want to see him play the role of a college professor - maybe even a scientist.. Again - middle-aged professor / scientist - with grey hair and beard.

Salman --- someone like a godfather. :p ...again, middle-aged godfather with 3 teenage sons and two pre-teen daughters, one middle-aged wife. ..yeah, grey hair and beard for him too.

Katrina --- playing the role of a vivacious ever-curious expat, who is eager to learn *ahem* hindi, and our culture, wants to marry and settle down with an Indian - like.. ARK or someone who'd look good with her... Lots of stories about expats in India.

Ranbir --- Want to see him in a psychological horror-thriller, where he is a man suffering from a mental illness but he doesn't know, he seems perfectly normal to us too.

Karisma/Madhuri --- same... middle-aged middle-class women / wives - in a family drama. Or maybe a story about a famous Indian fashion designer... or a kirana shop keeper.. or... a headmistress of a public school - how she deals with the changing times and show how students influence her rigid/old-fashioned nature and how she inturn has an influence on them.. it would be nice to portray that relationship..

I want to see a remake of Fracture(that Anthony Hopkins-Ryan Gosling film) ... starring Manoj Bajpayee(for Hopkins' role) and... Ranveer Singh or Varun Dhawan for Gosling's character. It's brilliant yet simple movie --- easy to remake too! :p

If the Khans are okay with playing younger characters, I wonder what stops them from playing characters their age. I would love to see a family drama starring Shahrukh or something like The Pursuit of Happyness.

Here's my list-

Deepika: An ambitious career girl in the ad world/film industry. Maybe trying to produce or direct. Her story. Reference film could be Fashion. She could be an anti-hero. Difficult to defend. Tempts destiny.

Priyanka: Something like The Proposal. A romcom where she power dresses her way into the leading man's heart.

Parineeti: A heretic daughter whose parents are unhappy with and how she handles their expectations and manages to make her mark.

Sid: A comedy like The Hangover. Ranveer could be in this too. Vicky Donor is also a reference.

SRK:A family drama where he has a wife and kids. Maybe he could be in a biopic.

Ranbir: Actually, he would be fab in a psychological thriller. I want him to play a villain now. Maybe something like The Girl On The Train.

P.S. Deepika could be the eponymous girl on the train. 😉

Want to see a historical war movie with Vidyut Jamwal and John Abraham.
