Hi folks,
This is the first time I am making a post in this forum. I haven't seen S1 and I must say this show is way ahead of Indian TV standards in terms of screenplay and execution. So a big thumbs up to the whole team 👍🏼 👏 The cast if superb and storyline crisp.

I haven't followed the original series either but I felt S2 bears a strong resemblance to MI2 and some of the similarities I could notice were:

  1. The whole series revolves around the unleashing of a deadly virus and similarly in MI2 we have Chimera
  2. The hero has sent the heroine as a bait to the villain and we see Maya stepping in to fill that shows. And in MI2 it was Nayah n but I suppose unlike in MI2 where Ethan loved Nayah, Jai is only using Maya to know about Harul's plans
  3. A stray agent who was the villain but here even though the guy isn't the main villain he is certainly one of the baddies 😕

Please do feel free to share your thoughts guys 😊

hi
i haven't watched season 1 of this show.
but this show is too good
can't belive indian tv do come up with this kind of realistic shows
i haven't seen the other show u have mentioned.
i too strongly feel jai is using maya. he is still not over with greif of loosing his wife. he still have her pic in his wallet. in last episode when maya said i love you jai just said i will call u back. also kiran too said dad may have reason for this relationship.

The show is definitely good and I was talking about Mission Impossible 2 which is a movie franchise starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. Yes Jai does not love Maya and its obvious he is using her. There will be differences for sure coz 24 only got the copyrights for the original 24 series and not MI 😆 do watch MI2 movie if u want to and lemme know what you feel 😊

If S2 of the Indian version of 24 is inspired by MI2, that can be said of S3 of the original, on which it is largely based.

I loved this serial and I also love the MI series. Now that you mention it, the plot points do seem quite familiar 😊 Good observation! Agree with what you said..

I love the MI series too 😃 The similarities were right there except they don't have a Bellerofone for now unlike in MI
