So as we all know that BBD didn't do well at the boxoffice. This another film which didn't work for Katrina ( dhoom, bang bang, fitoor and BBD) did nothing for her except pull her box office record down. I do still think she has the ability to bounce back but not sure how she will.

It all started after Katrina disappeared for a whole year after jab tak hai jaan and came back with dhoom 3 in a small role. DP is undoubtedly numero uno atm but she will be missing on the bollywood screen for more than a year hoping to be in a movie at the end of next year (Padmativi but that film already has so much disputes ) would she be able to bounce back or will Alia, Anushka and Shraddha take her spot.

Thats what it seems like. Padmavati might have her in the title role but BM did nothing for her. With two lead actors fighting SLB might ending up shortchanging her again for Padmavati.

Problem with Kat is that she can't act to save her life. Her lifeline was her item numbers and so called "BO pull". BBD has firmly established that Kat can give YouTube views but not bring audience to theatre. Weak opening of BBD proved Kat's non existent star power.

DP can survive missing from screen for 1 year because she can act and her last movie BM was a hit. She got credit for it. She is in much better positin thatn Kat, who is almost done and dusted.

DP's going to HW after BM was biggest mistake. She is plain stupid in doing so.
I love Kareena's stand on HW - She says I can't become their Julia Roberts, so why should I care to go to HW ?!!

Deepika should have totally focused on one thing instead of trying to do both things together. If she moved to HW, she should have focused on it and kept BW in the backend, kinda like PC.

But spending a year there for one film and being absent here, and then again a year and a half here for another film, while being absent there, doesn't make that much sense.

IMO Deepika should sign some movies that can be shot quickly like that Sriram Raghavan film who can make movies in 2 months instead of wasting more than a year for SLB. And the remaining 10 months she should be able to spend in HW. Somewhat like that.

Her current schedule does her more harm than good.

I feel bad for Katrina but her acting leaves a lot to be desired whereas Deepika can pull the crowds with her name, fame and act.

NO, Unlike KATTY who disappeared completely after JTHJ for a whole year, DEEPU, bless her soul is very much active on social media, TVC, Ramp walks, award showa & movie screenings etc. In spite of not having a single BW release, she is most talked, googled and followed actress of BW right now. Blame it/praise it on her PR😉
