Deepika to Begin Shooting 'Padmavathi' in November

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is finally ready to make his Padmavati' vision a reality. With set decorators working round the clock on the film sets, and the film's leading cast - Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor - getting into character, fans can expect another magnum opus in the making. According to reports, Deepika, who is currently out promoting her Hollywood film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage', will commence shooting for the film from November 5. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Ranveer and Shahid are growing' into their characters by matching their beards to match that of the rulers Sultan Allauddin Khilji and Raja Rawal Ratan Singh respectively. The actors have allegedly been asked to reserve 200 days for the film's shoot. As we all know, SLB's 2015 blockbuster Bajirao Mastani' took over a year just for the shoot and post production work was reportedly in progress till days before its release. The director is also reportedly going overboard to keep his sets and other film details under wrap.

This is the next VDW. Now the shoot has moved from September to November. If Deepika wants to have a BW career she should also sign a small film. Otherwise she will make the same mistakes Katty made post 2011 ie all kinds of delayed big films.

She has wasted so much time.. she could hav easily done a small movie in this gap...don't what she is thinking.. not a wise move I would say..

I am so worried. Why is she wasting sooo much time on this film? I want her to work with newer directors and actors.

She could have easily shot another film in these 5-6 months. Hope the film is worth it, it is giving me negative vibes as of now. 🤔

Looking forward to this film. Hope it's the magnum opus it has the capacity to be.

BW and HW hand in hand unlike PC who has got herself stuck with Quantico which leaves no time for BW
