So the news of the channel pulling the plug on Tere Bin has come about and I have no clue of how I should be feeling about this but was thinking if there is any space for damage control...

Though we love to hate the immensely flawed characters, have we in our lives come across any such stories in real?... I know a few successful women who've gone beyond everything and broken barriers to lead a happy single life, do you have to have a partner to feel complete?

And what about women like Nandini who feel zero empathy for the other females they cheat on, dont they know that what goes around comes around?

Coming to Akshay, there's plenty of such males who want everything, a happy family and some fun on the side...such men are common in every society and live a guilt and stress free life thanks to women like Vijaya and Mansi who bury themselves in debt and die a suffocated life...

What I want to ask is if the show stays what track do you think can salvage the story, lets help it stay?

For me, GK portraying Dr.Akshay is itself a reason for this show to go on. Because he is such a good n versatile actor that it's a pleasure to watch him. As of now I really want to see vijaya strong and akshay-nandini affair is revealed. Somewhere I feel this show would follow hum dil de chuke sanam story with akshay going back to vijaya.

I was watching this show just for Gaurav Khanna. Like said in below post, his presence is enough to successfully air the show. Since ages, its deeply ingrained in viewers minds that a hero cannot make any mistakes or cheat the leading lady. Did any one ever love a villain no matter how handsome he is. Now we have our most favourite, handsome guy making the most insanely horrible mistakes of his life. If Nandiini was just in his thoughts it could have still been tolerated to some extent. We know that such things can be related in real life, but who wants to face reality. We watch TV for entertainment, to refresh our minds, to escape into fantasies, to feel how a real man should be. Producers forgot that most viewers are females.

Damage Control can be done. Vijaya can find out truth and immediately throw Akshay out of her house, give back his freedom to live as he likes and herself start living independently with Neeti. She can even play the card of divorce. When Akshay is going to see Nandini's clinging, demanding, selfish nature and miss Neeti terribly and miss Vijaya's selfless love, he can come to his senses, realize what he missed and come back to Vijaya with repentance. And Nandini too can realize how Irfan had been tolerating her each and every tantrum and been so forgiving.

I couldnt agree more on GK being the reason, he is a fab actor and I always fall short of words to praise him, that aside wish actors could keep shows going...

And I dont mind it going the HDDCS way only if Akshay understands Vijaya's worth and Nandini doesnt go scott free

This is just so perfectly expressed, I applaud you for putting it down so well...I completely agree that the hero on Indian telly is not supposed to be grey, people like goody and righteous ones...

Yes we do watch tv for entertainment and mature and serious kinda stuff doesnt go down too well with TRP audiences. The makers were courageous enough to explore this angle but they forgot that the storytelling needs to be crisp and well planned, you cannot expect TRPs if you serve loopholes and dragged unnecessary tracks.

I love the idea of Vijaya chucking Akshay out of her life and him earning her back, not under any guilt or pressure of being rejected by Nandini. Irfan is a nice guy and Nandini is not good enough for him, he'll be better off without her...
