I've no idea about other states but in my state (AP) even girls who marry today do wear mangal sutra and additionally we seem to have added sindoor (can just be a dot) which wasn't in our tradition initially... I'm thinking ways of how to add something on my future hubby so that everyone knows that he's married just like they'll know when they see me... wouldn't a tattoo of my name do its work on his and his on mine!!

Aren't these materialistic signs which show to the world that these two persons belong to each other seems too romantic!!

This court marriage is very unexpected. Neither of them are completely happy with the wedding. Maybe post confession, at the very end of the show, they will get married again, the traditional way and Sumo can wear mangalsutra and sindoor then. TBH, I don't mind if she doesn't wear it.

I do want her to wear a wedding ring though.😳
