So the recent episodes have been focusing on Abhishek's realization of his love but what has changed for Meera? She's not comfortable with Aman and the way she extended her hand instead of hugging Aman is indicative of that.
She plans Abhishek's birthday and she's trying to get his dad and abhishek closer. So basically if she sees that the Pant parivar is in any kind of trouble, she can go to great lengths to sort it out. But what about her own issues? Couldn't she see that Aman's family was uncomfortable being with the Pants?
Can't she see that Aman doesn't like Abhishek? She agreed to this alliance wholeheartedly and now she is having some doubts. They're not big ones but they are doubts nonetheless. Why not focus on that? Why not spend more time with Aman and decide if he's the one or not? Instead her entire focus is on the Pant parivar.
I love the scene where she refused to leave the jungle without her father's note. It showed how much she craved her father's attention and his approval. Where is all of that? Why isn't she making an effort to make it work? Yes she agreed to get married for her father and this is wrong. Yes Aman is a shitty guy. Yes his family is shitty too. But not trying at all is making meera look shallow. Her carefree attitude and helpful nature are all good but where is the drive to make her parents proud?
Her not so perfect plan has glaring flaws and she's realizing that now so why not focus on that? The Pants are important to her but neglecting her purpose is not presenting a very good picture of meera right now.
