Oh my ;'(
This is so painful. . to watch two lives being destroyed, willingly with just one wrong decision.
There was pain written everywhere on the episode today.
Each dialogue just reflected how miserable Devakshi have become without each other, yet they can't be together. ..
"Hum ek doosre ke samne aate rahenge, toh ek doosre ko aise tod denge ke koi aur humein jod bhi nahi payega, humare parents bhi nahi"
"You are mine!"
And then those whats for Ritwik, as if he was angry that they weren't believing what he said.
Ritwik asked just the right questions and Dev had no answers Sonakshi was shocked at the directness of Ritwik's words and before this got worse, she decided to leave.
Ritwik is so sorted that it scares me. I wish people were as understanding as he is. So sensible.
When Sonakshi was with him in the car and he dropped her, all those Devakshi moments came flashing right before my eyes.
Sonakshi asks how anyone else would react to such a situation
and R says
"I dont know how anyone else would, But I know how one should"
"I dont know how anyone else would, But I know how one should"
Honestly, I am loving Ritwik's sensibility but why is he putting himself into this mess, when he can easily walk out, is beyond my understanding. It is amazing if he is like this. I am glad Sonakshi found a friend in him. I think yes, he will be the first one to show Sonakshi how much of a blunder she is making by going ahead with this.
The office scene:
I did not expect it coming today. Dev's condition made me have a lump in my throat. 🥺 Sonakshi caresses his face and he thinks he is imagining her. Initial reaction of a blissful surprise soon turns to a shocked expression,
Dev says he can never 'throw' Sonakshi out of his life. . I know, I know, Some o you must be wondering . . Lol! Kya contradiction hai😆 He just did it few days back!
Actually, Dev definitely threw her out of his life mechanically, . never imagining how life would be without her. . He did what he thought was right, but he failed miserably to move her out of his life, emotionally.
Sonakshi asks him the right questions again,
"Kya fayda"
and that he makes it difficult for her to move on, , that she can't move on as per his wish, if he keeps inflicting pain on himself like this.
I admire the honesty between these two. Dev tells how he can't live away from her, even agrees that he has turned a stalker (I can visualise some of you smirking here😆😉) and that he is in a pathetic state. . Sonakshi also admits that seeing him in pain traumatizes her.
No denial of their love, for even a second❤️
The highlight was Sonakshi still is madly, deeply in love with him. . that she said if you ask me to marry you now, I won;t think for a second and will agree, going against everything. I wish Dev said yes to her.💔
And one more highlight, How dev asked "You feel so hurt on seeing me like this?" He was in disbelief that Sonakshi is as hurt as him, on seeing him.. just like he feels on seeing her.
I believe the promise sonakshi took from him, which he readily agreed to, because of her.. .Is just to help him move on as well.
She is keeping away from him, because she doesn't want him to stay stuck with this painful state, she knows he loves her, , but she also knows that his mother is priority.. So she is just helping him move on.

The strings between these two are still intact, not tangled.
The tension in the string is so much now, it will either break with a little pulling or it will rebound to make them clash, together, stronger than ever before. I think the latter will be the consequence.
P.S Isn't it amazing, how in the end, Dev asked 'How are the preparations going' like nothing ever happened❤️ These two! Following the new promise from the very next second. I loved how these two just gathered their emotions trying to be normal.
P.P.S. I am in awe of Shaheer's portrayal of Dev. Perfect is the word.⭐️
