Few weeks back I wrote a post based on the spoiler of today's episode. It was titled Sahi Jawab...

Link: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4704982

Today's episode had a lot of Sahi Sawals...

Sawal No. 1 - Mama asks Ishwari, Did you fix Sona's alliance so that she can never return in Dev's life?

Her silence was the Sahi Jawab.

Sawal No. 2 - Elena asks Sona, Are you trying to rush into the marriage because you want to run from your past?

Sona's answer was only partially right. She likes Ritwik as a person and as a friend. But she is marrying him NOW to run away from her past.

Is it the right thing to do? No. But since Ritwik knows everything yet willing, it isn't anyone else's business but theirs.

Sawal No. 3 - Ritwik's question to Sona, Does he still affect you?

Sona decided to stay but it clearly affects her. However, she stepped in the right direction today with Ritwik's help. Running away from problem is easy, but not a solution.

Sawal No. 4 - Ritwik's question to Dev in precap, You are making a lot of claim, you are also claiming to love her, are you willing to marry her?

Can't wait to see Dev's answer tomorrow.

If he says yes, which he most likely won't because of his mother, Sonakshi is guaranteed to say no knowing how Ishwari and Dev's equation works.

If he says no, he'd have dug the grave of his relationship with Sona a little deeper from where he can't even climb out.

In either cases, Ritwik will come out as winner. Whether he is a villain or not, I don't know. But smart guy, I must say. That's a check and a mate!!!

My most fav question is what Rithvik asked in the precap.
And Mamaji oh mamaji, he really disappoints me with his 'near-accurate' questions but most of those miss the actual target. I am waiting for the day when someone in this show asks Ishwari the question 'Will you never let your son marry?'.

Dev's answer means nothing now. But hopefully Rithwik's question will put some shame onto him.

Yeah, well, I won't put much stock on Dev getting ashamed of his behaviour.

Have you ever studied fanatics?

They don't want to face reality. They settle on a cause that they convince themselves is valid and sometimes noble and look at themselves as crusaders who are solely responsible for saving the world. The entire world may try to convince them that they are wrong but they only hear what they want to hear.

Pehchaan look at Ishwari and meet Fanatic no. 1 and look at Dev and meet Fanatic no. 2.

Ishwari convinced herself that Dev can be happy without Sona. Nothing except Dev himself looking into her eyes and telling the truth about his feelings, will convince her otherwise.

And Dev has convinced himself that Sona is doing wrong by agreeing to marry Ritwik, so nothing short of bringing his mother and asking in front of her what he wants and what he is willing to do about it is going to take him off his course.

The key here is his mother's presence who is his kryptonite that sucks out his personality, brain and free will.
Then he won't be able to play his 20 vague response game anymore.

So true so true 👏 Every behavior of Dev reminds me of Ishwari. The utter selfishness and lack of will to face the reality is at one side, but look how even the flow of deductions and judgments are similar for both Ishwari and Dev. Dev loves new colors in bedsheets = Dev is more into Sona than me, Sona loves same old flavored coffee or ice-cream whatever = she still loves me. I mean 'eff' logic for real 🤢 Ishwari has put Dev's marriage plans on hold for ever, without much thoughts of what exactly she wants of Dev? Does she ever plan to get him married or not ? Similarly, Dev has all denial actions in plan, but no thoughts of what he actually wants.

The more I think of this Maa-Beta now, the more my blood boils now 😡 Their controlling nature pisses me off 🤢 I don't want Sona to marry Dixits anymore unless they REALLY work a lot hard to upgrade themselves 👎🏼 Both Dev and Ishwari are gone beyond redemption 😡

nice perspective. Everyone around Sonakshi are mature and very much aware of the situation Sonakshi is in.
Rushing in. Rebound relationship. All important cautions have been voiced and Sonakshi has heard all of them. Even Ritwik is being calm and cautious in proceeding with engagement.

Actually I think she calms down somewhat with all the calls for reason and everyone keeps giving her space to step back if she wanted to. It's Dev who is provoking her to proceed ahead further.

What an episode though. my eyes were glued from start to finish!

That's what I have been saying. Sona would have happily agreed for a long engagement and get to know Ritwik better if Dev had kept his nose out of her business. May be they would have decided to stay friends, may be would have fallen in love. But mother and son just can't stop interfering in other people's business. Mother with her match making and son with his trouble making...

The sad truth is we are probably not going to see anything from Dev tomorrow. What can he really say? He himself does not have an answer to anyone's questions. I made a post about Sona's proposal making sense now because of this very question. If he answers Rithik's question then there would be no reason for Sona to propose herself, if it does indeed happen. But his lack of answer to Rithik makes me believe she will propose because she too wants to know why all these claims of love and grandiose declarations if you have no intentions on marrying me? Dev is selfish like his mom. As children we learn how to handle and treat relationships from and thru our parents and family relationships. This is never more clear than in seeing how both Sona and Dev treat relationships. Sona is patient, understanding and communicative. Dev is self absorbed and unable to see past his needs and wants out of the relationship. Ishwari becomes mute when the Sahi Sawal is asked of as does Dev. So expecting deer caught in head lights tomorrow from Dev, but what I would really love would be for Sona to actually go tattle to Ishwari all that Dev has been up to. And then for the Sahi sawals from Ishwari to Dev, "Do you still love Sona? And can you not live without her?" 😉

Neha has asked the bold to Ishwari already, I dont recall which episode. But Ishwari brushed of the question.
