To be very honest, as much as I love Surbhi Jyoti, I was not too excited when I first heard about Mallika's entry.

We already have a Tia, why do we need another one?
I'm a diehard ShivIka shipper, so adding another variable to their love story (which is already confusing, may I just add?!) didn't seem like Gul's best decision.

Mallika entered with an air of flamboyance, bedecked in a beautiful bridal gown, and looking ready to awe. And she did. Announcing casually that she had just run away from her wedding, she already managed to set some grounding to a character who, as we all know, is a kaleidioscope of emotions and personalities.

Her relationship with Shivaay honestly unnerved me at first.
Tia is the textbook 'other' woman in this show, we all know that one of these days, her simpering 'Shivaay baby' will piss him off (can't believe it already hasn't!). Shivaay's judiciousness and her aura cleansing just don't seem to fit well enough. As cute as she can be, Tia is obviously not right for Shivaay. So everytime I see Tia with Shivaay, I don't care because I know that there's no possible way CV's would allow such a great mistake.

But Mallika. Mallika is different.
No, Mallika is perfect for Shivaay. Bought up in the same ideologies, class and overall environment as Shivaay, we can easily see them being India's next power couple. Mallika is sweet too, she would balance out Shivaay's cold side that he shows to society, and his cunningness and her logic would make them a fantastic business partnership.
So, I was extremely worried. I relate to Pinky so much 😆
Even Di was talking about how good they would be together!

After watching today's episode though, my mind is slightly at peace. Mallika proclaims that she loves Sidhaarth and also shrewdly picks up on Shivaay and Anika's chemistry.

Getting onto the point, many spoilers have said that Mallika is an antagonist and that her entry is merely a plan to destroy the Oberoi family.
However, I have new hope now that maybe these spoilers are just lying (as many of them do!) and that Mallika and Sidhaarth are here to serve as a catalyst for Shivaay and Anika's budding romance.

What do you guys think Mallika's intentions are?

p.s. How good would a Shivaay jealousy track be? Maybe Sidhaarth and Anika could have low-key feels and Shivaay notices it?!

Yes..
Even I felt that Mallika seemed perfect for Shivaay...!!

Loved the bonding and understanding they had...😊
Totally understood why Pinky saw them as a couple..!!
I think Mallika is the modernised version Vamp...

"The sweeter a person seems to be the more suspicious one must become."

So Mallika is surely the vamp come for the downfall of Oberois for Ranas sake..!!
(Maybe she has some revenge to take on Shivaay...!!)

Lets c...
