Sorry for not updating the other day

Here is the next chapter.

Chapter 2

US

"Sir, Mr. Sharma has arrived in the hall."

Rey nodded his head and the peon left his cabin.

He got up from his chair and started moving towards the door when he stopped in the mid way.

He hit his head lightly with his palm and shook his head.

"Rey you are becoming gajini, you forgot your sweetheart wants to wish you." He spoke to himself.

He went near the table and took the photo frame in his hands and smiled looking at it.

"Wish me luck sweet, you know without your wish I can't go." He said kissed the picture and went away for the meeting.

After the meeting Rey along with the Mr. Sharma entered in his cabin.

"Mr. Sharma make yourself comfortable." Rey said offering him a seat.

Rey took the file and kept it on his table.

"Okay I'll go through it later. You wanted to talk something."

"Yes, as you know we are signing this deal, I know you are very good guy and a bachelor too. So I was suggesting if you would become my son-"

Before Mr. Sharma could complete his sentence Rey cut him off in the middle.

"I'm sorry Mr. Sharma, I got it what you want to say. But I can't marry your daughter if you want you can cancel the deal. I won't care a bit about it but I can't marry her. There is someone really special who hold the place in this heart and no one can replace that place." Rey said firmly not sounding rude and the way he spoke shows how serious he was, anyone could say he love that girl a lot.

"No Reyaansh I'm not going to cancel the deal. I was just suggesting for marriage and the decision would have been on you. I liked that you told me straight forward about this otherwise it would have created a misunderstanding between our 4 years of business relationship. She must be a lucky girl and special for you." Mr. Sharma said appreciating Rey for saying whatever was in his heart.

Mr. Shrama has known Rey from past 4 years and has observed him from very long time. He has always complimented Rey for his hard work.

"Actually we both are lucky to have each other. I'm blessed with such a beautiful girl in my life." Rey said feeling himself lucky.

Mr. Sharma smiled looking at him.

"I'm happy for you Rey. God bless you both with all the happiness you both deserve." Mr. Sharma blessed getting up from the chair when his eyes fell on the photo on Rey's table and looking at the photo Mr. Sharma smiled.

Rey saw Mr. Sharma looking at the photo on his table and smiling and he got it that Mr. Sharma liked the girl. Mr. Sharma then made his way out but stopped right at the door, "Rey I would love to meet the girl some day and yes your girl is beautiful."

"Sure Mr. Sharma!" Rey said with a shy smile on his face.

Rey was working in his cabin when someone barged in without knocking the door, Rey looked up to see his best friend grinning at him. Rey raised his eyebrow looking at him.

"So what happened after the meeting? Did you say yes?" his best friend asked curiously looking at Rey.

"So you knew what Mr. Sharma wanted to talk to me?" Rey asked resting back on his chair and crossing his arms looking at his best friend Kunal narrowing his eyes on him.

"Of course I knew. Why do you think I left you guys alone? Besides I hope you said yes for marrying his daughter she is damn hot and you guys will surely make a hot couple"

"I said no." Rey answered and started doing his work.

"What? Why? Don't say you just said no for this girl (pointing towards the photo ) whom you haven't made any contact from past 5 years damn it." Shouted Kunal but calmed down a bit.

"I understand you love this girl a lot because there are many girls who are dying for mad for you but you never gave them a glance. I have always seen the love in your eyes for this girl, you never talked about her but always kept looking at her picture like you are having a silent conversation with the photo. I have known you since you came to US but dude I seriously don't know anything about your love life, you never talked about it." Kunal said curiosity grew inside him to know more about his best friend.

Though they were best friend but Kunal never asked about this girl in the photo nor Rey said anything to him but today he couldn't stop himself from asking about this girl.

"Is it that she ditched you or left you or-" before he could continue further Rey cut him off.

"She didn't do any of this and she will never do something like this to anyone. Don't speak rubbish about her keep that in your mind. I'm thankful to you that you never asked about it before. Now tell me what you want to know." Rey said ready to give answers to his best friend.

Kunal got excited like a girl who is all excited to hear a gossip from his bestfriend and sat on the sofa taking Rey with him.

"So how did you guys meet? Was it love at first sight? Did you bump into each other like in a film? Wait let me guess she is from a rich family but by looking at her picture she looks innocent so there was not any hate -love relationship between then-" Kunal kept on speaking getting himself confused on his own words.

"Okay stop it Kunal, jeez you sound like a girl at first then you started rambling and kept confusing yourself, sometimes you are a headache." Rey said dramatically holding his head.

"Whatever now fill me up with your love story dude." Kunal said again excited to hear.

"I sometimes doubt you are man." Rey said joking.

"That was rude! And stop changing the topic." Kunal said.

"We met in her father's success party where she was actually helping but I just shouted on her saying help your friend rather than helping me. But when I first saw her eyes i felt something. Her eyes were gorgeous and the worried look on her face with the minimal make up made me admire her for few minutes." Rey said smiling thinking about his first encounter with her.

Rey was standing in the garden of Shekhawat Mansion searching for his dad to take him home. When he bumped into someone and the drink spilled on that person.

"Don't you have eyes?" The girl shouted drawing unwanted attention from everyone.

"I'm sorry. It was just a mistake." Rey apologize not wanting to drag this issue any further.

"Do you think your one apology will clean my dress? Do you even know how much it cost?" She again shouted.

Everyone was looking at them like they are watching a movie.

"How would he know the cost of such a pretty and expensive dress Shreya. Just look at him and his clothes, he doesn't even belong to any one of us. Maybe he is some poor guy who is hungry from past few days and saw there is a function so he may have a chance to grab something." said a guy same of his age with a drink in his hand.

"Mind what you are saying. Just because I am apologising doesn't mean entire fault was mine. It was her too who wasn't looking where she was going." Rey said getting angry with what he heard. Sure he was from middle class family but that doesn't mean anyone can say anything to him.

"So you are saying it was my fault. You watch out whom you are talking to." Shreya said pointing her finger towards him.

"I don't care whoever you are neither do I care about the party." Rey started to move inside the mansion in the search of his father only to be stopped by the same guy who was standing beside the girl named Shreya.

"But I care about my fellow friend and I am not letting you go before you pay back." Said the guy.

"And who are you to stop me?" Rey asked.

"I'm Ranveer Singh, son of one of the top 5 business man. Now payback time." Ranveer said and what he did next was quite quick that it took a moment for Rey to register what just happened.

Rey felt a fist hit his jaw and the corner of the lips were bleeding. Rey lifted his hand up and placed it near his lips and saw blood on his finger.

His fist tightened in anger, first he apologised to this girl properly knowing it wasn't entirely his fault then this guy pisses him off and then he has the gut to punch him. That was it he couldn't take anymore insult from any of these people.

Rey punched Ranveer making him fall down and said, "You better don't hit me again and started moving when he was again pulled by Ranveer.

And the fight started between the two, they punched on the face and kicked in the stomach and fell down rolling on one another.

"What the hell is going on?" Taani shouted as she saw crowd in the specific area of her garden.

She pushed everyone aside only to see her friend and a guy whom she doesn't know fighting.

"Oh god! This is not good." Taani thought to herself.

"Guys stop it. Stop fighting. I said stop it." Taani shouted getting both the boys attention towards her.

"Oh god! You guys are so much injured let me help you." Taani made Ranveer get up and then took hold of Rey's hand to help him stand up.

As soon be Rey felt a hand touch his skin, he felt tingling sensation run through his body. He immediately looked up only to meet a gorgeous pair of eyes looking at him with worried expression on her face. He held his gaze on her for a minute or two until Ranveer spoke.

"No need to help that middle class boy he just spoiled Shreya's dress and was being rude with her." Ranveer spoke half truth along with a bit of lie which didn't go well with Rey.

"I wasn't rude with her besides I apologised." Rey argued.

"Stop it. You guys need to clean up. Ranveer go and get yourself clean." Taani ordered with a glare.

Ranveer reluctantly went but not before sending a I'll get you payback look to Rey.

As soon as he went Taani turned to Rey and kept her hand on his shoulder and here again that feeling making his stomach flip inside, "Let me help you to clean up."

Rey closed his eyes not knowing what was happening and shoed her hands off his shoulder.

"Your friend needs you not me. I don't need a damn help from you rich people who think of us so low." Rey shouted at her and left while she stood there with her head low biting her lip stopping her from crying when there wasn't any fault of her.

"Dude that was so rude of you, I mean there wasn't any of her fault still you shouted on her." Kunal said.

"I know Kunal, and I even feel guilty about that but first that fight then that feeling when she touched me was quite distracting and I just shouted on her. I really felt bad for shouting at her."

Rey again looked at Taani's picture and caressed it.

"You really love her and miss her a lot? " Kunal asked.

"You can't even imagine. I miss her like hell, I love her a lot. Being 5 years away from her was really difficult for both of us i know that. But if I would have made any contact with her then I won't be able to stop myself from seeing her. I can't bear to hear her cry. It was really difficult for us to be apart. But now that I have achieved many things and I am a successful business man, I will do every possible thing to make her mine as promised to my sweetheart, my Taani." Rey whispered the last word much to himself promising to make her his.
