Akira struggled on Saturday with hardly any growth but this was sort of on the cards as the film did not pick up well enough on the first day. Th Saturday business is in the 5-5.25 crore nett range. The action drama had to score with masses as the city youth and families don't turn up for this sort of cinema but it has not really happened for the film. When a film does not open, the importance of Saturday cannot be understated, its a must unless its a family film then you can still keep hope for Sunday to turn things around. Akira should be able to grow on Sunday but its probably not going to enough. Below is first two day business of Akira.

As for the circuit business its pretty much a similar picture with nothing really doing much. Mumbai was around 1.40 crore nett on day one and Delhi / UP was 1 crore nett and they should a little growth on Saturday though some circuits did see a drop in collections.
