Khushi woke up again due to Aarush playing drums on her stomach, and ASR was late in stopping him.. Khushi saw Arnav pulling Aarush back from disturbing Khushi but he alas.. Aarush wanted to go to Khushi who was now up, she too extended her hands to take Aarush who was leaning over her, but ASR didn't pass him to her..

Khushi-Arnav ji??

ASR-Khushi, you rest, you are having temperature..

Khushi-What????

ASR-Ya..

Khushi-Oh no no Arnavji.. It will go away in a while..

ASR-My foot!

Khushi-No.. My temperature...

ASR-It's not funny Khushi..

He grit his teeth but she rolled her eyes..

Khushi-Stop getting hyper. pass him (Aarush) to me..

She ordered but ASR didn't .

ASR-Shut up and rest Khushi.. Today is Arshi's appointment and you are also coming.

Khushi-Obviously I am!


ASR-No, I meant,. I will get your check up done too..

Before Khushi could speak, he went out and Anjali and Payal came and checked her and all that.. Aarush was passed to Nani while Arnav forcefully got Khushi ready to do her check up..

Iin car, driver was driving and ASR had Arshi.

Khushi-Am telling you Arnavji, am fine..

ASR-Shut up Khushi..

Khushi-I know what has happened to me..

ASR-Oh ya? Then tell me..

They got down and were alone now in the hospital lift..

Khushi looked away leaving his hand and he held arshi close to him feeling awkward suddenly.. The lift opened and they both stood still..

ASR-Um, so,are you sure you don't need check up??

Khushi flared her nose looking at him and he looked away..

ASR-Okay sorry! But you should have told me this earlier..

Khushi-I tried!

ASR-Why didn't you talk to me on this in car? Can't you be direct?

Khushi-Driver was there Arnavji!

ASR-Okay, but how would I have known!


Khushi-You are my husband, you should have been knowing..


Arshi looked at her parents time to time as they kept arguing.. Arshi got tired and went to sleep on her daddy's shoulder..

Arnav and Khushi waited silently for a while and finally doctor called the two inside for Arshi's check up, both went in..

They greeted the doctor and told him the problem who asked Arnav to lay Arshi on the baby's seat.. So he did, carefully, without waking her up..

Doctor checked her up..

Doctor-It's normal Sir, nothing defective.. She is a normal child.. Just that, some children's growth is slow..

Khushi-Means, she is okay, right??

Doctor smiled and nodded..

ASR-Any medicine??

Doctor-No, nothing like that, just behave normal.. Nothing to worry but ya, just always talk to her.. Always try to communicate as much as possible with her, it will help much.. And while talking DO point towards the thing you are talking about..

ASR - Ok, anything else we can do?

Doctor - Actually nothing more.. You don't need to worry Mr. & Mrs. Raizada.. She's just 16 months old yet.. Some kids start talking later.. Nothing to worry..

Doctor did a normal baby check up and gave some vitamin tablets after which they took a leave..

They go home and are shocked to see Aarush crying.. He had fell down and Khushi rushed to take him.. Khushi worriedly caressed his back hissing his head..

But she was not well, so ASR took Aarush from her and for the first time, he held both the kids on his either hands and understood how difficult yet easily it was for Khushi to handle twins!

Aarush was done bandage and Khushi cried a little seeing her other baby in pain too, she was already worried for Arshi..

It was afternoon and the babies went to sleep.. Khushi kept looking at Aarush..

ASR-Khushi, you are so brave!

Khushi-What?

She frowned as it came out of nowhere from him..

ASR-Ya.

Khushi looked at her kids and sighed..

ASR appreciated her bravery and toughness to face all hardships and stay so strong..
Khushi smiled a bit understanding what he is reffering to, her eyes on her sleeping angels.. He took her hands in his..

ASR-How you feeling now?

Khushi-Am okay..

ASR - I really wish you had told me about my kids before..

Khushi closed her eyes not replying and laid properly hugging Aarush, while Arshi cuddled her father with whom she got attached to really fast..

Arnav kissed all three's forehead and slept..
Khushi wasn't sleeping yet and opened her eyes.. She looked at him..

Despite of Arshi's kicking he didn't say anything and slept still taking her in arms..

Khushi (thinking) - She is just like him, so obvious she is his princess and gets along with him well.. But in this, what if she forgets her mother and only gets along with him.. No, I won't let this Laad Governor snatch my daughter away..

She slept praying to her Devi Mayya about what her heart said..

Night passed and the next morning Khushi woke up at first.. Aarush and Arnav were sleeping yet.. Arshi was also sleeping but she opened her eyes soon..

Khushi was just watching her and smiled..

Arshi was silently looking here and there as if checking the place and it's familiarity.. Khushi went to his side and picked her up..

She kissed her princess and took her to the poolside, and sat down on the chair taking her in lap..

Khushi - You got your father and forgot me? There was a time you wouldn't sleep until I take you in my lap and make you asleep..*pout* But nowadays you sleep easily with that Laad Governor.. All the time glued to his neck. You don't even miss me.. Arshi Singh Raizada, don't forget I am your mother and have given birth to you. So you better be a Mama girl again. Come on, give Mamma a kissie..

She pouted and then heard a chuckle..

Khushi - A-aap?

Arnav has been listening to her and now came out to the poolside..

Arnav - I heard someone is insecure..

Khushi ignored him and continued with Arshi..

Khushi - Arshi, princess, call me Mamma...Ma-Ma!

But Arshi only looked at her with her innocent face and then looked aside at Arnav..

Arnav smiled and opened his arms for his daughter.. Arshi immediately leaned towards him and Khushi's mouth hanged..

Arnav took Arshi in his arms proudly, and as usual she hugged his neck and rested her head on his shoulder.. Arnav placed a small kiss on her hair and caressed her back.. Khushi pouted and looked away..

Arnav - Khushi, don't worry.. She won't forget her mother.. She still loves you that much as before..

Khushi looked at him innocently and stood up.. She was going inside but he held her wrist with his free hand and pulled her back.. She gasped falling on his chest and her eyes widened, she struggled..

Khushi - Arnavji, let me go..

Arnav - Khushi, don't..

She gulped and stayed..

Arnav - Khushi, you were with them from the time they were in your womb.. I really wish you would have told me at least, but instead you left Delhi and went away.. Now I get to know I'm a father and I want to spend as much time as possible with both..*sees Arshi and back to Khushi* Aarush and Arshi are really opposite to each other.. He is mostly busy in eating and playing (chuckle) so doesn't come much to me but Arshi, you know na, she doesn't play like him and that's why comes to me whenever I extend my arms.. Aarush is really so much attached to you but I don't mind.. Do I? Then you too, please, don't mind Khushi..

Khushi - I-I'm sorry..

Arnav pulled her closer by her waist.. Khushi stared him and gulped as ASR leaned closer.. She knew his intension..

Khushi - Ar - Arnavji you...You're forgetting my condition..

Arnav - I am not! The condition was that I won't come close to you in the room. But technically, we are outside, and not on bed..

He winked.. She curled her toes in anxiety..

Khushi - I.. You know what I meant..

Arnav - Shut up Khushi.. Arshi wants her parents to come closer.. So.. I only want her happiness..

Khushi - Arnavji.. (closes her eyes) Arnav ji..

Arnav - I love you too..

He took care Arshi isn't sandwiched and caught her lips in his.. They pull back in sometime and Khushi was stunned for she gave in..

Arnav - Sweet after so much time..

Khushi backed off craning her neck and ran inside leaving a smirking Arnav behind.
